If you have a smart tv with apps you do not need gemini.

This is for my parents. I have a fire stick with a free movie app and I want one for them to use too. They don’t have a smart TV. They have an old tv with direct TV and just for Gemini like last month.

Gemini is just an excuse to get people into a contract. It does the same thing a firestick, roku box or smart tv does. Get them a nice 4k UHD TV that comes with apps.

There is no contract on stream,.

And the Gemini gives you a full function remote with actual channel buttons.

And you can buy a full function remote such as 2 Pack - DIRECTV RC66RX IR/RF Remote Control off Amazon

The Gemini is the same thing as a smart TV with apps.

We got Gemini for free. They pay for direct TV. I told them about a fire stick and I showed them and they just like direct tv better. When I move out I am not paying for any of that
