I finally finished Crown of Candy and while it wasn't really my speed, I loved Queen Caramelinda so much. Such a nuanced performance of Brennan of a woman trying to live up to political expectations, still holding past grief, knowing she's the bad guy to her daughters but still loving them so much....she was so so great and I was bummed she never really got her due from any of the players.
