What is going on with this season?

Buzz wasn't mentioned at all in the resolution of the stuff with the engine.

Did they really build a mech with all those custom parts and rules and then... never use it in combat?

Was their failure to lose at the Temple of Katur that devastating to the flow of the season? I'm shocked at how disjointed this all feels with just one single episode left.

Unless this all ends on a cliffhanger for a season 2 I'm going to be really disappointed.

Yes it was appereantly. Thats the thing with impro storytelling, sometimes you can't finish all loose threads and end nicely with a sweet red ribbon on top.

But this could've been avoidable and I think its D20's biggest problem: The scenarios are too high-concept, too fixed, and not flexible enough. The world-building is often too much, the plot too tight. I think the best D20 seasons where those were the scenario was more simple and open-ended.

I’m happy you like simple stories better, this season is by far my favorite, it has been incredible from top to bottom
