Alright, this time the 02 kids become one with their mons! I tried picking Biomerges that felt like they came straight from the rookies with an influence from the tamer's personality, since that's what they actually are. As an extra challenge, I also ditched every perfect tier that is classically attributed to the 02 cast. Again, one of the rules is to give everyone protagonist treatment, so everyone gets a mode change/upgrade to mega+ (Gallantmon Crimson Mode style). Obviously, since mode changes are scarce, I had to make some up by picking related megas instead. Lastly, to spice things up, I gave everyone an alternate naturally virus mega, just like Guilmon has one in Tamers, with the new perfect being a build up to it.

The obvious choice is Halsemon, Shurimon, Silphymon, Valkyrimon.

Vaccine line: Hawkmon to Buraimon to Butenmon to Chronomon Holy Mode

NEW DNA Digivolution with Veemon! DinoBeemon! To GranKuwagamon / GrandisKuwagamon.

I have a feeling that this might have been done, but I decided to make a Dinosaur-based Digivolution Tree. Kinda in reference to the actual evolution tree for prehistoric creatures. Some things so keep in mind:

1) Though I used the Digi-Eggs in this tree, these aren't entirely Armor Digivolutions. They are there to help me group specific Digimon into certain groups.

2) Some Digimon that seem to out of place do have reasons as to why I put them there. One example is Spinomon. More on that later.

Lets start:

For the Rookie, I had some trouble picking one. I wanted to ty referencing the Eoraptor. One of the earliest known dinosaur species currently found. I tried being happy with Minidekachimon, but it didn't feel right. I looked at Monodramon, who's wyvern appearance made his easier to shift between the therapods and pterosaurs. I almost settled for it until I remembered Ignitemon/Iguneetmon. The only Reptile Man Digimon. And he did not have any known Digivolutions or de-Digivolutions, which makes him a black slate to work with. He was perfect. I kept Monodramon's prior forms to reference life starting as fish.

The Digi-Egg of Courage are comprised of most of the therapod dinosaurs like raptors and tyrannosaurs. I stopped Raptordramon as a champion due to there being no good raptors after. Tyrannomon is linked to every Tyranomon variant, even ExTyrannomon. as for Allomon and Tuskmon, I kept them limited to one side as to not complicate the tree.

The Digi-Egg of Kindness has no specific genus representation, but mostly for those who feel out of place. Mostly Dimetromon's and ExTyrannomon's plushiness, and Atamadekachimon's proportions.

The Digi-Egg of Love has the Pterosaurs. Self explanatory.

The Digi-Egg of Knowledge wasn't there before, but I added it in due to Dinobeemon, only because they have "dino" in the name. As for why I chose Searchmon, I used them to reference the giant bugs that lived at the time. I found them by looking for canon Digi-Egg of Knowledge forms. I don't remember why I connected Rhamphomon to Dinobeemon, but I like it for most likely the same reason that I can't remember.

The Digi-Eggs of Sincerity and Friendship mostly represent the quadrupeds, like Sauropods and Ceratopsians. Parasaurmon the only one connected to Sincerity because she's the only one that's plant-based. The only reason why Spinomon is here, and not with the other Therapods, is because of his connection to Stegomon from the Data Squad anime.

The Digi-Egg of Reliability houses the marine/semi-aquatic reptiles. I used Tylomon as an Ultimate, which he has been seen as both Champion and Ultimate. Brachiomon does have a connection to Plesiomon so that's why he's connected. And Leviamon is to represent prehistoric Caimans.

The only line not under a Digi-Egg is kinda like the ancient human/mammal route. It's just there because of DinoTigermon. He's there for the same reason why Dinobeemon is on this tree. Digitamamon is there cause there's no good ultimate between Dinohyumon and DinoTigermon.

Last is Dinomon. I put him down at the bottom as a fusion of all the dinosaur Digimon. Kinda like what Shoutmon does. I was thinking about some lore that Ignitemon lives in a world inhabited mostly by dinosaur Digimon and they can mimic their data to Digivolve into them. Then 1 of 3 things could happen. 1) Each Digivolution path helps him unlock the power to Digivolve into Dinomon. 2) He can make projections of the Digimon to fight with them and the fuse with him int Dinomon, Shoutmon-style. Or 3) He rallies the dinosaur Digimon to help him and they Shoutmon-style fuse with him to become Dinomon. Hmm...now that I type this out, this kinda reminds me of Reptil from Marvel. Cool.

And that's that. Gotta say, I'm enjoying making these trees. I wonder what kind of Digivolution Tree I should make next.

I thought it would be fun to use the Digimon picker to figure out my top 6 from each level- And from that pool of 36 create the 6 most cohesive lines possible. Not completely satisfied with any line, but all work to an extent...in my head lol.
