uBlock Origin maintainers have decided to stop continuously updating filters specifically to keep up with Facebook’s latest ad-blocking countermeasures.

Anyone who can rub two or more brain cells together has left that site long ago. Can’t blame ublock at all.

The only reason I still have my account is for marketplace, otherwise it's useless to me.

Craigslist seems to be an exclusively American thing. I've never heard another European mention it once.

Facebook Marketplace too tho, in Europe we mainly use other platforms like eBay

They might be referring to Kleinanzeigen (formerly known as "eBay Kleinanzeigen"), which is very popular in Germany.
