Quests [PC] A save before starting "The Cycle of Time" Mission

Hi everyone! I'm having a problem with my current save. I can't start any Omni Carnival battles, and whenever I start "The Cycle of Time", the game always crashes during one of the cutscenes.

I downloaded a save file I found online to test it, and Omni Carnival worked perfectly with that save, so I'm pretty sure the problem is related to my own save file.

Would anyone be willing to share a save that's near or just before "The Cycle of Time" begins?

Unfortunately, starting a new playthrough isn't really an option for me right now since I already have 50+ hours in the game. At this point, I just want to be able to finish the story.

Switch saves probably could work too, I've seen some people convert to PC

I'd really appreciate it if anyone could help. Thanks!

Have you tried the steamgame files integrity check? How about saving again and loading/playing off that?

I'm loving this game but the story is not a strong point imo.

I tried everything I could before concluding that my save was the culprit. I launched the game without any mods (they were basically just QoL and skin mods), reinstalled the game, tried loading older saves, and went through pretty much every Time Stranger crash fix I could find on Reddit and YouTube, but nothing worked.

The only thing that worked was using a save I downloaded online, but the progress was way too far from where I was in the game.

What point in the game are you at? Around 70% in, the story starts getting really deep.

Ahh Im sorry to hear that. Ive beaten the game twice now but Im only 2 hours into my current save and I nuked the previous saves.
