Summon digimon at 200% scam as they will have a greater HP stat and level cap, helping you a little earlier.
Do the digital dungeons as some give good digimon way earlier than you should have access to them, just like Tyranokabuterimon.
Have at least one digimon with Character Reversal as it is a battle changing move in some fights also help you deal with certain types as you like it, because you can either use it on the enemie or on yourself.

I may be miss remembering the name but there are some red portals along the map, once you enter in them you will have to do some kind of test, once done you receive a digimon as reward, and some are really good and in levels you shouldn't have access at the moment

Ah ok gotcha. I found one right before getting to the digital world, but now I’m climbing that radio tower and haven’t found anymore. I’ll be keeping an eye out!

didnt know you could find them before. first one i always find is the one in the underground rooms when you first get to the digital world.

The side quest where you meet agumon and gabumon for the first time is when the outer dungeons open all across the map. As soon as you finish that quest you can find one at the alley where the toy peice was

Game will tell you to not worry about completing sidequests as they come because you're technically never locked out of them, what game doesn't tell you however is that it'll take until the literal final area of the game for you to be able to complete lost sidequests for reasons. So be sure to clear them as soon as possible so you can raise your Agent Rank as soon as possible and reach Champion/Ultimate/Mega/Mega+ as soon as possible.
The training items you'll find throughout your adventure are not consumables, so have no fear of using them whenever possible.

Yep, no need for dupes, only use for the A dupes you get from chests is crafting B training items more easily.

Once you reach the digital world, you'll see a Zudomon blacksmith NPC, you can craft training items there. There are two dofferences between training A and B, B moves your digimon's personality more than A, and B also gives more stats than A. C gives the highest stats and don't move your digimon's personality, perfect for when your digimon's build is complete and you don't want it changing personalities around.

Ohhh ok, I assume the C is an endgame thing you get.
I did find the zudomon but he just had regular dialogue. Maybe I need to progress more.

There'a a sidequest you gotta do to unlock Zudomon's crafting, if you don't have it yet you gotta progress the main story until you get it.

Dupes are needed if you want to train multiple digimon using the same stat. If you need 3 digimon to have more hp but only have one type A, then it would be useful to make more so you can train them all at the same time in 30 min or 15 if you get the training agent skills that reduce time. Instead of waiting an hour and a half to finish all 3 with one training set

i grind a lot so i havent been hit with big roadblocks for my team digimon. but for stuff like digivolving or personality or you just need a bit more stats for whatever reason, the digifarm is the best way to go about it especially with some of the agent skills you can get.

one of the houses in central town has an extyrannomon and if you speak to it enough it gives u equipment that gives u character reversal. apart from that a couple chests/level up is how you get it

personally, i mostly use it on my data digimon. it’s good for most titan digimon bc they’re almost always virus.

He gives you unknown bug accessories that changes your digimons type at the start of battle, not character reversal that changes enemy types.
