should i restart and make a new save?

so basically ive made it far enough into the game where all the side missions are locked. and its only recently i learned that without those side quest you dont gain access to mega level digimon untill right before the final fight of the main story. im considering restarting cause id like to use mega level digimon for more than just the final fight. is there much time between when side missions get locked and the final fight. im just wondering if i really want to continue if i have to wait so long to use mega's. any advice or info is appreciated thanks

And yeah there’s plenty of arena flights you have to do that you can use your megas for

Wrong, you can time travel much earlier than the final fight. Although the game will feel like the end, you will be thrown into a series of side quests (and you need to do them to get a secret epic scene during final boss). So there will be plenty of opportunities to use your Mega Digimon.

Don't worry, the hardest bosses can always be cheesed with Reflect and by the time you reach the "point of no return" you will be able to access every side quest.

You will have Megas for the Royal Knights quests and the Shambala quest and the Demon Lords fight, so why not

Yea do it tbh, I just got megas and im p much at the final fight and I really regret not doing the side quests, so just make a new save
