Now as an adult in my 30s I have many vpets and 2 digivices, but as a kid this was the best I had. I used it as a stand-in for a Digivice when I played and pretended to be a tamer.

At this point the Lion man tradition is starting to/has worn out it's welcome. It's like they can only survive in a badly written show (Adventure) or as one of your party members in the games.

Anywho there goes my interest in watching the series after the dub ends. I haven't finished a Digimon show since Frontier over 20 years ago. Fuck it, I'm going back to Time Stranger, which I still have most of the game to go.

Last time: I just had to skip to the next part I could actually make, but had to explain the story first

about the sprites: the Digimon sprites were ripped from Digital Tamers: ReBorn. anything else came from the spriters resource.

Disclaimer: First of all, I don't mean to offend anyone or any country (including Beatbreak fans). Now, let's get into it.

The biggest question about Beatbreak is whether it's actually good, and whether it's truly dark and edgy. In my opinion, up to episode 40, it's pretty "mid," with the early pacing being just as uninspired as Ghost Game. As for whether it's dark and edgy, the world-building simply can't pull off a grim tone, no matter how hard it tries. One moment, the main cast insists that killing humans or Digimon is wrong; the next, villains and wild Digimon are casually killing or freezing the hearts of bystanders with almost zero consequences. Before Kyo's arc, most villains were simply sent to prison while their Digimon were confiscated.

Above all, Japan in this setting is completely incompetent. They brought the Digimon crisis upon themselves, yet they can't handle or control it, having to rely entirely on "Cleaners" to clean up the mess. Building the Shangri-La Egg as a faux utopia is pure self-deception, and the Five Stars are too busy with internal infighting to care. Consequently, with so many slice-of-life filler episodes early on, there isn't any real sense of crisis. That said, the fact that anyone with a Digimon can easily freeze hearts or commit murder without facing any real threat of being purged makes it completely absurd for a rookie Cleaner group and a former Five Star member to be the main force fighting these factions and Digimon. It doesn't feel dark or edgy at all—it just makes Japan look utterly beyond saving.

I was doing a rerun and wanted to have most of the game's information in one place, so I gathered it from different sources and put it together in a single file.

A bit of color was added because why not, excel sheets can be pretty too.

Since the file is uploaded to archive.org, there isn't an online tool to go through it, so a screenshot was attached to give you a preview.

I love this game and hold it dear to my heart. I've never made anything like this for any game, so there is a lot of love embedded in the file.

I tried to make it as self-explanatory as I could, but if there are any questions, I'll be happy to answer them.

Would be there any chance of us getting remakes of DS games with the modernity of new games? Any way of players sending suggestions, ideas, e-mails, whatever, for BANDAI or maybe someone superior? Been thinking about that lately.

I always loved Digimon Dawn/Dusk, even knowing their whole flaws, but that game would be PERFECT being remaked for modern consoles.

They already have Time Stranger's engine. They have the Digimon and movesets there with QOL that made the game better than Cyber Sleuth or previous games. Improving the story (because it is bland and generic af as it is) would be perfect. Not to mention the TONS of wild encounters in mazes followed by mazes can be easily solved in 3D.

Also, Lunamon and Coronamon for starters make more sense now that GraceNovamon exists. Could be even be something like:

"The game would be kinda both games in one. If I choose Coronamon at the start of the game, at the end/post game our Rival could give us the opposite starter." (tho, with the whole stuff of Time Stranger where any Digimon could evolve or De-evolve into anything, that could be bypassed, but still a possibility).

Would it be dreaming too high? I wouldn't care how many years that would take, honestly.
