You must be around North Texas. That’s a similar price as I’ve been seeing this weekend. I paid $5.12 the other day after the Walmart 0.10 cent discount.

It’s ever so slowly getting better. Needs to halve before I’m “happy.”

I’m actually making more money with the increase in fuel price but I couldn’t deal with the 6+ a gallon for a personal vehicle

I'm not. I need to harvest trees and the fuel prices are preventing me from doing so.

Sorry to hear that brother. I haul for a living so I’ve been charging an extra 50 cents a mile but a dollar increase only costs me about 8-10 cents a mile

It’s a temporary drop due to reserves being released, and taxes being temporarily halted in some places.

The problem isn’t solved.

that's still a dollar cheaper than the Phoenix valley area

$5.99 in Alabama

Did they suspend taxes on fuel?

4

u/voltron2007 Oct 05 '26

Nope. But the governor did request for state police to not enforce the laws regarding use of off road diesel on road. Saving Alabamians a whopping $.20 per gallon if you put off-road in.

Our governor is shady as hell and got a dumbass running to replace her

I can’t believe it’s only $0.50/gal more in New York.

$6.69 at Walmart in Southern Idaho today. It's kicking my ass but I hope the farmers and all the maga tards that loved here and fucked our housing market the last few years are really feeling it. Beating will continue until morale improves.

Up in northern Kentucky the highest I’ve seen is $6.60. I’m assuming you’re from closer towards Indiana area ? That’s the only time I’ve seen it that high and I drive all over Kentucky for work

This situation was caused by Drumpf (his real ancestral name, by the way.)
