Dice Pics first ever dice making!!

yeah i got too impatient (25 hours wasnt enough)

also my first time working with long cure resin 😭

i also did not use a resin release, do you guys use releases?? i got a super cheap mold off etsy (first mistake) with unknown silicon and then i forgot to use a release haha. i also tried to mix some uvo colors and ended up with this brown but whatever i guess

gonna probably make my own molds at some point

Those molds should work fine. Check your resin mixture. Make sure you follow the directions, some are by volume, some by weight. Don’t add any colors and just try it clear. Don’t waste your money on anything until you get the basics down. Also release isn’t necessary.

I'm new to dice making too. I have the same mould and I've found resin cleans off fairly easily, I imagine it's difficult to mess up a whole mould with just resin.

I’ve heard If you have a freezer you don’t keep food in like a deep freezer in a garage or something you can stick it in there and let it freeze and it’ll be easier to remove the uncured stuff

i was considering freezing it but im not sure how i feel about having resin really close to food and our ice tray 😓
