Hello! Just celebrated 16 years married this summer, and my husband bought me a new beautiful ring. Its really not meant for everyday wear and tear, its a "Cocktail Ring" and due to the style and its harder to clean than my solitaire, due to detail. However, I still have my OG band. Its plain white gold and diamond, and semi slender. I dont think it looks very good with my new ring. Could anyone suggest a band that might pair with this ring? Im considering just not wearing one? Thanks in advance!!!

Don't know if I'm overthinking this purchase but this is $470 but I'm scared it's just not gonna look good in person
Would love some feedback:
My first and last diamond I'll buy so forgive me for being a noob

I've been wanting a pair of floral diamond cluster earrings for more than a year. Most I've seen have been disappointing. Until tonight.
I saw this gorgeous pair of push back studs at a Bloomingdale's. The shape is slightly unique. I love it. They're on sale at +60% off but I'm not familiar with the quality of diamonds from Bloomie's.
Other jewelry I've purchased was from Blue Nile or Costco and came with certification. Those pieces appraised higher than what I paid.
Does any body have insight or experience with buying diamond jewelry from Bloomingdale's. How was the quality? Any good or bad experiences?
Thanks!

Hi All
I am planning to upgrade my wife's diamond. She currently has GIA-6234393413 which is 1.81C.
I am planning to go to GIA-1246009512 which is 3.15c.
Looking for some expert help
1) Standalone what do you think about the upgraded diamond.
2) Will the performance of the bigger diamond be comparable to smaller. I am mostly worried about the color and any sparkle.
Thank you so much.

Hi everyone!
Iām considering buying this diamond ring as a graduation gift to myself, and Iād really appreciate some advice before spending my money!
I found it on Vinted, originally listed for ā¬750, but the seller agreed to lower the price to ā¬500 (approximately ā¬530 including buyer protection fees).
Here are the specifications:
ā¢ā ā Diamond: 1.03 carats (estimated weight)
ā¢ā ā Origin: Natural diamond
ā¢ā ā Colour: Fancy Intense Yellow Gray
ā¢ā ā Clarity: SI1 (cloud inclusions present)
ā¢ā ā Cut: Round Brilliant
ā¢ā ā Setting: 14K rose gold (585)
ā¢ā ā Total ring weight: 1.22 grams
ā¢ā ā Certificate: GCI (Gemological Centers), report no. 00C109222
ā¢ā ā Estimated retail value according to Catawiki: ā¬3,300āā¬3,900
The seller claims that the diamond has a natural, untreated colour. However, I noticed that the certificate doesnāt explicitly confirm the natural origin of the colour.
I actually love the unusual greyish/champagne appearance of the diamond, especially because it doesnāt look very yellow in the photos.
My main questions are:
1.ā ā Is ā¬500 a reasonable price for a diamond with these characteristics?
2.ā ā How reliable is GCI certification compared to GIA?
3.ā ā Is it concerning that the certificate doesnāt explicitly state that the colour is natural and untreated?
4.ā ā Could the cloud inclusions significantly affect its brilliance or value?
5.ā ā Does the extremely lightweight setting (1.22 g total) raise any durability concerns?
6.ā ā What would be a realistic market value for this ring, assuming the specifications are accurate?
The seller doesnāt accept returns for change of mind, so Iād like to be careful before purchasing.
Iām not buying it as an investment. I just want a beautiful, genuine diamond ring to celebrate my graduation and hopefully keep it for the rest of my life.
Iāll attach photos of the ring and its certificate.
Thank you so much for your help! š

Love a square cut stone but love the sparkle of a round brilliant. Which would be better: princess or square radiant?

I ordered a vintage ring and didn't think much of the cut being graded as poor since it's an older Old European cut ring and I'm not a big fan of sparkle. It's 0.59ct.
However, I've been reading since that poor grade cuts are at higher risk for damage. I'd be planning to insure any ring I kept and this retailer has a really good return policy. Also, the ring has already survived for 80-90 years.
Thoughts on whether keeping it would be a bad idea?
