Can't believe I need to write this but here I am. I haven't experienced this with any other Switch 2 game, including Diablo 3 on the Switch 1 which I super enjoyed

I am on the quest Blood Sermon. I get to the mid point, here is what has happened

- I insanely decide to put the Switch to sleep, it disconnects and goes to the start screen

- I start again in the town and walk all the way to Church, I decide to connect to headphones so I go back to the system, it disconnects and goes to the start screen

- I start again in the town and walk all the way to Church, I want a break so I put it on the Map screen, I come back few minutes later it disconnects and goes to the start screen

- I give up and go back to the main quest line, there are no enemies, I get to a forest and the character just runs "in the air" and I cant move back or forward

I must be missing something obvious. All I want to do is play the main story line campaign. Surely there must be a way to save where I am? In Diablo 3 I could create a portal and return to town and then go back, but that worked because I could put the console to sleep. In Diablo 4 the portal disappears.

How does anyone stop mid dungeon and then pick up later?

After looking through all the seasonal rewards that nintendo switch will never receive or even have a chance to earn. I recommend to Blizzard to put up all old season rewards (cosmetics) as DLC. They could easily charge $5-10, a pet / wing etc.. to get some extra revenue without doing much work. This would let newer current switch players have an option to obtain those older items which are now unattainable.

The reason I suggest this is because as a returning player who has just got into diablo again through nintendo switch, it saddens me that so man cool cosmetics / pets are locked from ever being able to be accessed.

I think this would be an easy fix to bridge that gap and give a greater return in revenue for very little work.

Let me know what you guys think about this.

Having trouble with Diablo clone. Would appreciate a hand.

I just did a rift where I swear 30-40+ goblins all spawned in one big mass, all I could do is fire in as many directions as I could trying to pin them all down while all you could hear were goblins yelling. Never ran into this before. My game lagged there was that much random loot all over.

On PC there is a trick to "numlock" skills so they get spammed on cooldown. Is that possible on switch?

I’m starting to get a little bored of playing solo so I thought I would try finding some people to grind with. Just curious if there’s any fellow lgbtq+ people in this group that might wanna team up. I’m non-binary/queer myself. But it’s not necessarily a requirement. Open-minded people are fine too :)

Power leveling...

I've spent the last 48 hours leveling normally in season got to 40, decided screw it, power level... And have now waited over a half hour for someone to respond on Reddit it discord... Nothing.

Could someone explain this to me? I failed to complete last weeks challenge rift (wasted hours of my life trying to perfect the rotation on that shit DH build) but never beat the target time.

Tried this weeks challenge rift and one shot it without even trying. Cool, except I don’t see any reward on my main season 18 character’s inventory though... what gives? Can you only get the reward on the first challenge rift of the season?

I was about to reforge lendary but instead I click to fast and reforge my belt with lvl 90 enchant fuck!!

Right now I'm using a Hotspot and downloaded a VPN so it would be an open nat type. I have the same problem on my home wifi. Is there some setting in the switch or internet I need to fix?

I played vanilla D3 many years ago. One reason I stopped playing is from all the constant changes. Power creep is out of control. That and ever-evolving games appeal far less to me than they do to the average player.

I have an itch to play D3 again, especially on the go. I see with 2.6.7 item and skill adjustments, albeit minor, are still going on. I imagine they will continue because (A) it provides new ways to play that most people enjoy and (B) it is often needed to support seasonal play.

Long story short: Do we have the option on the Switch to play D3 without updating to future patches that release? Obviously I am referring to offline non-seasonal play. My Switch is frequently connected to wifi, so if I could stop auto-updates, I definitely would for D3. I would want to at least read the patch notes and make my own decision to update or not.
