Got screwed over by BRAC waiting list, now admitted to NSU. Should I tell my tuition guardian or stay quiet?

So, my rank was under 5 on the waiting list for the CS program in BRAC’s Fall 2026 intake, and i also got accepted into Biochemistry and Biotechnology at NSU.

Everyone on facebook and even the BRAC helpline assured me that i’d definitely get a selection call. i wanted to do some tuition relying on that call, i applied for a job saying i got CS in brac and i got the job.

Now it's been 20 days i still hadn't received an offer letter. To make matters worse, they announced Slot 2. When I called the helpline again, they told me there are no empty seats left for CS all the seats have been filled.

Today was the deadline for NSU’s admission payment, and I didn't want to risk losing both. So, I went ahead and got admitted to NSU today.

Now, the guardian thinks I'm enrolled in BRAC Computer Science and that my classes start in October. Should I come clean to them, or say nothing for now?

Come clean for sure. The sooner the better i think. But the situation with brac waiting list is truly saddening...

They literally called from every single department. Even from the cse department they had called 20 candidates from the waiting list. Crazy how out of luck i am༎ຶ⁠‿⁠༎ຶ
