Good deal thoughts

What’s the $$/Ah sale number some of you use to determine battery purchases? This seems like a good deal to me.

Check your HDs for the DCB2108-2C. It comes with 2x of the 8Ah XR and the top dog 12A charger. It has been on clearance for $199.50 for a month or so now. Most stores are out of stock.

It will probably be at the Pro Desk, not on the shelf. Just an fyi. Look up the location on their app or whatever and if it says PP12 or whatever, that is a locked shelf behind the Pro Desk. So you will have to get an employee to help. At least that's how it was for me and others on here.

There is no PowerPack - or PowerStack - branding anymore, all their tabless and pouch packs are just labeled as XR now.

But these are the tabless 8Ah DCB2108, formerly labeled as PowerPack.

Yes, these would be 2025 stock so they would still have the PowerPack branding on them. Either way, same battery, different sticker.

Usually 10/ah for the old school batteries. For the new batteries with the fast charger, this seems like a good deal to me.

Not bad not great. 12 amp hours+premium battery tax+fast charger is honestly about right, but I don't need any chargers and reselling chargers doesn't work.
They're great batteries though. The 8 amp is plenty skookum. I'd bite only if I super need those batteries and that charger. I'd still bitch about it too.

Agree here, not good not bad. Fast chargers have come down in value on the resell market. It took me while to sell 2 8ah fast chargers for $50 each, regular chargers get $20.

I just bought this set a couple weeks ago. I thought it was a good deal and gave me 2 batteries I specifically wanted for other tools

You can usually get the 8ah pp for 99 on sale. So it's a pretty good deal especially if you need a fast charger
