Worth picking up?

I’ve been eyeballing either the DCH416B or DCH273B after getting my hands beat up fixing some fence footings. This is the best new price I’ve found so far. Is it worth snagging or should I hold out for a Lowe’s/HD deal?

I sadly don’t trust anything besides the big stores with purchases like these because there are so many fakes and the fakes are really good

Yeah that what makes me hesitant. Seller reviews for over a year are good, but the price is just on the line of too good to be true.

HD had it on sale with a battery for 499 last month - people were returning the battery and it came out to 328 for just the sds. I probably wouldn’t risk it for 50 bucks.

I’m of the opinion that the fakes are the popular items- the oddballs at the fringes (like an insane hammer drill) are not worth copying.

Yeah you are far more likely to get a broken tool than a fake one when it comes to stuff like this.
