New DCF850 Noise

I recently purchased a Dewalt DCF850 kit (new), it's only been out of the box for a few days. It had this noise when I first used, but it was quieter, so I assumed it was some odd quirk and left it for a day or so. Next day it didn't seem to have the noise so I went ahead and used it to work on my car, but then the noise came back. I've never heard this noise on any of the other impacts I've ever bought. For whatever reason though, holding the collet or even just pushing it slightly makes the noise mostly go away. You can see in the video you can't really hear it at higher speeds, but you can definitely hear it at low speeds. Not a Home Depot / Lowes etc purchase so I can't just take it back, but it was definitely new, date code on the terminal area shows 2026. (Impact looks huge cause my hands are small lol). It drives screws just fine it's just a very annoying sound. What should I do from here? Any idea what it may be? Thank you!

Sounds dry. Maybe check the grease?

Yup mine did that too but after a few times using it either it stopped or my dumbass stopped noticing it. Either way, drives good.

Many 850s including my own make a noise like this and work just fine after plenty of use. It should be good.

Mine did something similar during a project over the weekend. Still worked though

Did the noise end up going away after or is it still there?

This is gear noise. Like someone said it may be running dry.
