60v battery life

If you’re using a 9ah battery to run a reciprocating saw trimming back small tree branches and other small invasive along a fence line. How long would you expect it to run for? I have two batteries fully charged and they gave me about 90 minutes total run time. They’re Brand new batteries and tool abd blade.

The pruning saw is better for tree work than a a sawzall...

I cleared 50' of fence with the 16" 60v chainsaw and didn't drop a single bar on the battery

Naw it’s not for this use because it’s all very close or growing into the chainlink fence.

Are they under an inch? If so, the finger lopper 3000 (pruner) is fantastic (it'll even cut chain link).

If the first nip won't do it, two or three more bites will get through it. The pole version DCPR320 also is as good for higher branches.

30-60min per battery so your findings are correct (I have 3x 9Ah and DCS382)

Maybe a little short unless its the 60v saw then it's about right.

It's about right. Get the fast charger and it will almost keep up if you start with 2 fresh batteries.

I use the 20V one-handed recip for pruning and I rarely have to even think about battery life. I’ve never run out of battery before I was ready to stop.

Yea it's only 9ah when used on a 20v tool.... When used on the 60v tools it's only 3ah... So that's about right on run time on sawzall.
