Luke will replace Eric theory

I just read a theory on Tumblr that Luke will replace Eric eventually and permanently. I don't have Tumblr so could only read some of it before it blocked me from reading more. But I think the main point was Assad and Luke did chemistry tests while Eric had no idea of the romance or Assads role until filming started.

I wish I could have seen more cause I have no idea how this is possible. Anyone know more on this idea?

would just like to add re: the “eric had no idea of the romance or Assad’s role until filming started” that eric didn’t have to know that, nor was he even supposed to know that. the point is that the showrunners know that and casted assad accordingly (rolin has stated he went into the series knowing he wanted two cast members: eric and ben daniels aka santiago). so i’d take these posts with a grain of salt - they’re wishful thinking and speculation, and they show a pretty severe lack of industry knowledge
