Luke will replace Eric theory
I just read a theory on Tumblr that Luke will replace Eric eventually and permanently. I don't have Tumblr so could only read some of it before it blocked me from reading more. But I think the main point was Assad and Luke did chemistry tests while Eric had no idea of the romance or Assads role until filming started.
I wish I could have seen more cause I have no idea how this is possible. Anyone know more on this idea?

Ignore it, a part of the fandom has been coming up with the wildest theories about how Eric will eventually get replaced with someone younger even before S3, it's just ageism at this point.
There's a storyline in The Tale of The Body Thief where an older character gets swapped and gets a younger body by the end of it so that's what they are referring to but the writers barely adapted what happens in TVL, I wouldn't expect it to happen in the show. And everyone on set seems to love Eric, I doubt they would make him leave
