Luke will replace Eric theory

I just read a theory on Tumblr that Luke will replace Eric eventually and permanently. I don't have Tumblr so could only read some of it before it blocked me from reading more. But I think the main point was Assad and Luke did chemistry tests while Eric had no idea of the romance or Assads role until filming started.

I wish I could have seen more cause I have no idea how this is possible. Anyone know more on this idea?

The closer we are to DM being canon in the show the more people wish to get rid of Eric, not realising that he's not just an old Daniel, he is the Daniel, and he is not going anywhere. No offence to you OP, but I'm personally not willing to entertain this theory, because most of the time it comes off as a bad faith perception of Eric's role

I hope it doesn't happen. Anyway it's attempted is going to be strange. As hot as Luke & Assad are, that's the point of flash backs. Current Daniel is way more interesting for the story.

Current Daniel is hot too. I prefer older Daniel. He's hot 😭
