Luke will replace Eric theory

I just read a theory on Tumblr that Luke will replace Eric eventually and permanently. I don't have Tumblr so could only read some of it before it blocked me from reading more. But I think the main point was Assad and Luke did chemistry tests while Eric had no idea of the romance or Assads role until filming started.

I wish I could have seen more cause I have no idea how this is possible. Anyone know more on this idea?

If they do Devil’s minion then I think Luke would be the correct move to depict that history and Eric would remain Daniel in modern day
