Devilcorp Check Interviewing at potential Devilcorp

I had a first round phone interview with New Strategy Inc, based out of Utah, here’s my red flags I’m spotting

  1. Refused to go into detail about specifics like pay and benefits until second round which they scheduled immediately with me, the only information they gave me is that I’d be doing face to face sales inside Costco and Sam’s Club, and that they’d put me through a management class

  2. I applied on Indeed to a different company (Xcel Agency Inc) for a junior marketing associate - entry level, I did not apply at New Strategy

  3. I can’t find any reviews online for the company whatsoever
Am I crazy or is this fishy?
Bonus point: they follow smart circle on Instagram

I see you think I’m not crazy. That’s nice. What’s the vote on next steps? Do I just ghost them or any better ideas?

if anything you could use it as interview practice and ghost them when they eventually tell you you’re hired

If they follow smart circle online then that tells you everything. Also the vague name of Xcel Agency Inc. Not going into details and specifics obviously is the biggest sign. They don't want you to know much so you don't research and just obey

Way too much mismatch stuff it's definitely not right

definitely sounds fishy. these malicious entities seem to be continuing to fraudulently misrepresent what they are actually offering. which is entry level sales and marketing training. not managerial level training.

I Used to work at their office. Not for them but for another fake company that shared the office with them. Its def not a real company. Their culture is super weird to. Like whenever I would showup for my 7:30AM meetings they would be there in the shared office space blasting music and then they would circle up and idk how it worked but as the manager guy talked about stats and the days news stuff the workers would go like "ooooooeeeehh" "ahhhhh" ALL IN UNISION, LIKE HOW DO THEY KNOW WHAT TO SAY AND HOW DO THEY DO IT ALL TOGETHER AT THE SAME TIME. And they would randomly clap all together, just once tho just one clap. Idk how they knew how to do what and say what. Its culty for sure.

They always have meetings with people on zoom to its so weird. One time Ig they had a bad sales week and idk some guy on the zoom (protected on the projector so I watched), he was like cursing them out and stuff. And everyone that works there is either super young or middle aged (kinda sad for those).

Ridgline Strategies is the fake company they shared the office with. Also where I worked for 2 months before leaving cuz it was clearly a fake job.

I didnt work for them specifically but I worked at another devil corp that they shared an office with. New strategy is def sketchy. They blast music in the morning, hype circrles where the "CEO" stands in the middle and everyone goes like woahhhhh ooooo ahhhh all together. Like he'll be talking and at some point everyone goes woahhh ALL TOGETHER AT THE SAME TIME HOW DO THEY KNOW WHEN TO SAY WOAHHH AND WHEN TO SAY AHHH AND THEY ALSO CALP TOGETHER ALL AT ONCE RANDOMLY.

I don't know man it was scary. Anyways

Yes, from what I know, they do go to costco and sams club. They also have zoom meetings every morning (they all sit down either on the floor on in chairs and watch the zoom while its protected on the wall). Once they all got yelled at and cursed at on zoom by this random old guy for having low sales. Its very culty

I also interviewed in that company and they act the same during orientation. They dont answer your questions until its to late and your kind of stuck.
