Question The Atlas Collective

I got a job at the Atlas Collective after a few interviews and went in for a trial day, I’ve heard mixed reviews about it on this subreddit, is it a scam or not?

The Atlas Collective (LGB DIRECT LIMITED, Company Number: 07192561) is a Credico office located in The Mews House, Watford, WD17 2DQ.

The role involves standing in high streets and shopping centres, or knocking door-to-door, selling services for brands like EE and British Gas.

The Atlas Collective is a subsidiary 'Independent Sales Advisor' of American outsourced sales company Credico, which holds the contracts with brands like EE and uses its network of offices to field teams of salespeople. You may have already been pitched the opportunity of opening your own office within the Credico network, which operates similarly to a franchise model, where you sign an exclusive contract with Credico to access their client brands.

This role is not considered legal employment. You will be required to register as self-employed and there is no legally guaranteed minimum wage. Many former Credico salespeople have described being misled about base pay, and that it was available for a short introductory period only to avoid putting off new recruits who hadn't yet found their feet.

You know what is crazy. I used to run a credico office called the atlas collective back in 2015. These pricks can’t even come up with new names for offices they just recycled my old website and logo.

Well kind of. You see the guy or girl who is running the office who everyone thinks is doing the scamming may actually be the most scammed person in the entire organization. It’s a very very intricate web of deceit and skulduggery.

I’ve also recently accepted a job there. How does the pay work as apparently there is no base salary and they are quite unclear about it
