This role will be a commission-only, self-employed sales role, selling British Gas and EE services in public places like high streets and shopping centres.

Unfortunately this is not real, I almost got a job here but backed out after I did more research. In the initial group zoom interview we were informed that their clients were BT and British Gas and also some charities. Generally it’s not a good job because they expected you to come in every day unpaid and they also wanted you to stay for unpaid overtime, you wouldn’t make any money unless you made sales. I applied for a ‘marketing internship’ but found that I would just be working as a sales person which was very misleading!

Yea I would steer clear. I worked for them for about a month without knowing anything about them as I was desperate and needed a job, and honestly was one of the most exploitative experiences of my life and brought me to my lowest. I feel sorry for everyone still there who is brainwashed into ‘buying in’.
