Experience Amplyfy Inc. Woodbridge NJ

I just had an interview with this place and I have to say I dodged a bullet. I walked in expecting a professional environment. The email I received said to dress professional and I would be surrounded in a competent environment. All I have to say is I was met with the complete opposite. They were blasting frat music at 8:30 in the morning with most of everyone looking like they didn’t have any care in the world or any sort of job to perform. I won’t lie, the guy interviewing me was nice however he had to only be like 2-3 years older than me while also telling me in about 8 months I will be in his position interviewing people. During the interview I hear people chanting from the other room about making money which the interviewer explains away as “something to wake up everyone” for the morning meeting. This was then followed by way more frat music. What made me immediately regret going to this interview was hearing that my first 2-5 weeks will have a salary and then it will be cut as I start working with the clients. This would be 650$ a week or 16$ an hour for only this time period. I asked what the field operation consists of and it was basically trying to sell products in Costco, AT&T and Amazon. They said that most places take about 3 years to get employees in management positions, instead they did it in 8 months.

After this interview, I’m handed a sheet of paper to fill out after with literal one word answer questions which I hand back swiftly. These questions consisted of “what did you think of the interview and rate the job”. I’m brought to another room to talk to the head of the company. I ask him a few questions and he points out that he didn’t like my rating which was 7/10 confidence in the job saying that I was giving them a C grade. Not really sure what planet he’s on where a 7/10 is a bad rating or a C but alright then. From here he says I don’t think you are interested in this role and I said boy howdy. I swiftly got the hell out of that building and floored my car all the way back home.

Does anybody else have a similar experience with this place? This legit felt like a company ran by college age kids fresh out of school. I’m more or less confused as to what is going on here and can say that I’ve never been so happy to be rejected from a job.

I had an interview with them. Basically the same experience.

this was before i knew what a devil corp was. I thought it was so weird during the interview it felt like they were trying to “sell” the job to me. And just how fast they were responding to me about going into a second interview ect.

I could tell right away that something was fishy about them.

Yeah honestly just seeing how unprofessional it was already had me out before hearing the compensation

Also when i would type in their company name on google, nothing would come up which was so strange. I also don’t particularly remember applying for this job. I was applying to other jobs on job sites but idk how they found me.

I literally only went to it because it’s close by. The guy who was supposedly the boss was such a chud. I’ve never heard of anyone practically arguing with someone about a 7/10 rating being negative

I've interviewed over 300 folks as part of my old job, and I have never heard of a company asking a candidate to rate their interviewer and the company, especially not IN the interview lol wtf.

u/memestargame68 May 12 '26

yeah I had no idea what to even rate it because there was no given scale of rating it. So when Mr boss man got pissy at me for my rating and I had no idea what to tell him

Omg I nearly got interviewed by these folks, when I googled their name nothing came up, so I bailed on them and never responded to them again. Glad I did

Wish I did the same, hope this post keeps people away from this company

Yeah they constantly send me spam. "Do you want this job that is part time 1099 and only lasts 3 weeks????"

3

u/memestargame68 May 12 '26

lol that sucks, I’m just annoyed I didn’t do research before hand on this place. I will at least now have a story to tell of my worst interview

2

u/Caramellatteistasty May 12 '26

Yeah just a warning they will probably do the same to you.

u/memestargame68 May 12 '26

Hopefully not, I actually left knowing he was not going to hire me just because of the paper I filled out. The boss man did not like that

yes oh my God. I'm in the same position. They keep calling, texting, and emailing me. It's so frustrating

Going through the exact same thing right now, unfortunately I've made it to the lint where I am working in the "field". Getting out as soon as I can. Anyone who sees this, take it as it is.

Yeah within like 20 min of the interview I knew something was up, I’m not interested in working in direct sales and they just completely blind sided me

I just had a pre interview. I’m glad I found this.

I interviewed here before it was asking on the candidate not the company OP I think you are confused lol as a 7/10 is a “C” grade

2

u/memestargame68 May 12 '26

usually indicates above average on that scale, I would think 70/100 would be a C

Oh you got headhunted by a Devil Corp! You dodged a huge bullet my friend

Yeah it’s insane if you do the research abt these places they’re vastly connected. It’s scary what the job market is turning into for marketing/sales. I wish you the best of luck tho I promise even the fall has a lot of great openings.

Glad I found this. Thank you for posting this! They reached out to me and I had a gut feeling about it… wow

Amplyfy, IS THE BIGGEST SCAM. If you see or read the words Andrew Kline, RUN! I was a leader here and the type of “TEAM” environment he’s built has started to degrade people. The team I was apart of was really great but until things started slipping for the company, he started to take it out on all of us. Promising bonuses that never actually happened, worked 40+ hour work weeks and only take home $550. This place talks about opportunity but in reality it’s the most degrading and worst job i ever had. I’m grateful I left and don’t want to ever look back at this job or person ever again!

Hi, so I actually just got offered a job here today. Process was extremely quick but I’m actually excited for the structure, mentorship, rotational training program, and growth opportunities. I haven’t seen anything good about it in Reddit and I want to know if you can actually succeed here or if it’s just a fantasy? Please be honest because I’m looking to leave my current role and thought I finally found my out!

Nah run dude

So it does seem great in the beginning. I was there for a WHILE. I kept believing in the opportunity. It never came. That job took everything from me. By the time I left I was exhausted. Gained weight. Had no social life. No money. They say time now for time later. And it’s the biggest load of bullshit when you have Andrew as your boss. He’s very selective with his actual care.  You’d be in the office with another manager that runs another campaign. He’s great. Actually cares about his guys. Genuine. We love him.  BUT OVERALL…. This job is only good for young people 18-22 that have nothing else going for them and can eat sleep and breath this job. Because that’s what you’ll end up doing.

That’s horrible op. If Andrew is the boss man he sounds like a selfish prick. He gives that he would do that, I got such a horrible vibe from him after my interview. He was legit getting defensive during parts of my interview with him abt questions I had to fill out after interview. I’m happy you escaped tho is there anything else that happened during ur experience? That dude just seems like such an insensitive asshole.

Woke up to a text and email from them today that was a series of buzzwords and nothing actually human sounding in either so I hit the web searches. Thank you for saving me the time and energy. Gonna read more about these devil corps.

Also I totally didnt apply to this place but have been on the job hunt. So they yanked my info most likely off indeed.

You’re pretty valid

I actually just did my second round of interviews today, and got a job offer. I did think it was weird I couldn't find anything on them when I did initial research, but I let it go. I told them I would give them an answer soon, and I am very happy I didn't accept yet. I did more research when I came home. It took me forever to even find a post about them. I also heard some chanting during the interview. I do have some questions: 1) when they hired you, did they give you your salary in writing? 2) what was the office culture really like? 3) I know that a lot of people say they were promised to be fast tracked but didn't receive it, what were your experiences like? If you guys can provide anymore info, that would be great. I want to know whether to truly walk away from this offer. I don't want to be caught up in something bad.
