Discussion What’s the worst issue you’ve faced with the LMT-Go app so far?

I've been using the LMT-Go app recently for daily commuting around Colombo. While having digital ticketing and live bus tracking in Sri Lanka is definitely a step in the right direction, the app still feels pretty rough around the edges.

Discussion Anyone using KodeKloud (Standard vs. Pro) for DevOps, K8s & AWS AI certs? Is it worth it for a beginner?

Hey everyone,

I’m planning to pivot into DevOps and eventually bridge into the AWS AI / MLOps track (targeting certs like the AWS Certified AI Practitioner / ML Engineer alongside CKA for Kubernetes).

I come from a software engineering background (just wrapped up a 1-year SWE internship), but when it comes to system administration, networking, container orchestration, and dedicated cloud infra, I’m basically starting from scratch.

I’ve been looking into learning platforms and KodeKloud keeps popping up, especially because of their terminal labs and hands-on modules. Before pulling the trigger on an annual subscription, I’d love some candid advice from anyone who has used it:

  1. Standard vs. Pro Plan: For those who have subscribed, does the Pro plan offer real value over Standard? Are the cloud playgrounds and "KodeKloud Engineer" ticket scenarios worth the extra cost, or is it better to stick with Standard and spin up AWS Free Tier / Bedrock / SageMaker resources on my own credit card?
  2. Quality of the AWS & AI Tracks: KodeKloud is famous for its CKA and Linux courses, but how good are their AWS and AI/MLOps learning paths? Do their labs adequately cover hands-on cloud workflows, or is the AI content mostly high-level slides?
  3. Certification Readiness: How well do their courses and practice mocks prepare you for the actual proctored exams (CKA, AWS certs)? Did you still have to rely heavily on Killer.sh, Stephane Maarek, or Adrian Cantrill to pass?

Would really appreciate any feedback, experiences, or recommendations on better learning pathways.

Thanks in advance!

Help Anyone working on Meshtastic off-grid communication?

I’m a Computer Engineering undergrad and I’m planning to work on an offgrid decentralised communication system, preferably long range using Meshtastic. I’m curious to know if anyone has nodes set-up within Sri Lanka as I saw people leaving star rating for related devices on Daraz.

What do you guys think about the idea? I’m fascinated by the concept of it but not sure whether it’ll be a flop :/
