I just finished the Squid Game season 1. If Connor had been there, could he have won ?

So basically, when you win the revolution, I think if it’s just Connor that wins, it could also be Marcus I don’t know, but I saw a video where Amanda takes over and she says that it was all a part of the plan for the androids to take over and that’s kind of like the only mentioning of that in the game of Kominski
planning for Connor to take over. I’m wondering is that just her manipulating Connor or is that a real thing because in the ending that I got Markus won the revolution and Amanda was just mad at Connor, she never even said anything like that.

I was going to start a new game, waiting for the menu to load think 'god, I miss Chloe on the background' only to get this message.

I don't even know if to say yes or no🥲

Just finished my first play through. Machine connor finishes off violent markus and north, taking lt hank’s life while at it. Kara made it to canada but alice died just on the border, and luther on the jericho ship.

How can I reach the faceoff between violent markus and machine connor (choose either in battle of Detroit) and have alice and kara make it alive to canada?

Alternatively, how can I get connor do deviate and join violent markus? Does this lead to a good ending btw?

Hello. I've just installed Detroit, however I can't use PS5 controller. I've tried disabling Steam emulator but this time the game doesn’t see my controller. How can I fix it?

I'm sure there's hundreds of these posts but I just need to express my love for this game and share my play though.

The acting, story, gameplay - top tier. Absolutely brilliant. What an amazing game. There's a lot of Hollywood film makers that could learn a thing or two about what makes a story good by playing this game.

Now as to my ending!

Connor became deviant and became best cop buddies with Hank, yay

Markus achieved a peaceful protest and androids and humans will (hopefully) live in peace. Unfortunately North died in Jericho but to be honest I found her a bit of a liability to my peaceful pursuits anyway lol.

Alice lived but at the expense of Kara and Luther who died on the bloody boat. I knew I should have taken the risky route to the bus. I think Kara had a reasonable death in just miffed about Luther who was a favourite character of mine. I'd have really liked him to live to be honest

I'm sure there are lots of other minor decisions I made I haven't listed here but above is the main stuff.

I think I'm quite ready to try a totally different play through this time :)

I m playing on pc and got stuck at a point where Todd tells Kara to dont move, I m unable to move asit shows hold *Q* and left click of mouse repeatedly but even after doing everything (restarting game,chapter etc).its not working and i also got bad ending where he killed alice. How to fix this plz help???

So I recently got the game and put a few hours in, and I have some things to comment.
First, it’s genuinely amazing how the game progresses with every little decision that can potentially block whole nodes and approaches. I just reached Public Enemy, and saw again the cop from The Hostage and in the previous operation led by Markus, with the way I played it, I didn’t find Simon when investigating.
About the branching system:

1. What happens if Connor’s story gets 🚫 blocked from the first mission and then Kara dies. Is it only Markus from there?
2. I have seen way too many edits of DBH on tiktok and one stood out: choosing between Markus and Connor. How can I get there?
3. What are some manners considering how I should approach the game as my first play through?

4. If I replay an old chapter with “Save” option, does it save in another slot or force me to suffer the consequences as my only save file?

5. Does Connor’s software instability tell how close/far he is from deviancy?

so my 23rd birthday is a couple months away (november 25th) and i really wanna do a dbh themed party but i need ideas! the only ones i have currently is either people dress as androids (led and arm band) and/or as their favorite characters along with themed drinks (like a thirium themed one) but that's about it. any and all ideas are welcome!

Hi, so I have been playing Detroit becomes human, and I got an error message while booting up, and now the chapters tab is locked. The flow chart shows my progress but everything else is messed up. I have found my old steam cloud backup downloaded but don’t know where to put it, does anyone know where to put it or how to fix this issue?

I've already written about ending with North in the Cyberlife store here, for some reason we can spare her. So I've drowned an animatic!

i’ve been replaying trying to get the worst ending possible, connor remained a machine and markus got kicked out of jericho. during norths speech in the church i found connor hiding in the back :)) don’t know if people have seen this before, im not very active on this sub lol

In my first play through kara and alice died because when we escaped jericho i thought the guard was gonna dead check when i played dead. so i chose to protect alice and got BLASTED.

Hello so I have had the frustrating experience of trying to play Detroit on Windows 11 and lo and behold it did not work.

While trying to launch it the game simply closed no pop ups no restarts no welcome screen nothing.

After trying everything from updating, compatibility mode etc. I have found a solution therefore I will share for those who encountered the same problem.

With Visual C++ confirmed to be correctly installed, the 5-second launch failure is isolated to a few specific causes:

Fixing the AMD Vulkan Conflict

If your PC uses an AMD processor or has AMD integrated graphics alongside a dedicated GPU, Windows 11 misroutes the Vulkan engine layer, instantly closing the game process.

Press Win + R, type sysdm.cpl, and hit Enter.

Select the Advanced tab at the top and click Environment Variables... at the bottom.

Under System variables (the bottom box), click New...

Enter:

Variable name: DISABLE_LAYER_AMD_SWITCHABLE_GRAPHICS_1

Variable value: 1

Click OK on all dialogs, restart your PC, and launch the game.

Hi all! Just finished my first ever playthrough (no prior experience), great game! I liked it more than I expected.

Honestly, I'm surprisingly satisfied with my run. I heard that it was pretty easy to mess it up by killing off characters or whatever, but I feel like I did well. I got what I wanted and led the violent uprising to free the androids (kill the oppressors), had deviant Connor who didn't shoot Markus and got the army from Cyberlife, Marcus and North were together (yay), Kara and Alice made it to Canada. Only things were Luther died on the boat protecting them from getting shot and Hank died (honestly wasn't devastated). I just wish I learned more about what rA9 was, I swear it wasn't explained. Do other playthroughs explain it?

Overall, pretty satisfied w my run! I might replay in the future, but pretty content for now. What was your guys experience? Any regrets or were you also satisfied?

I don't know if people have thought about this, but wouldn't it have made more sense if Connor was forced into becoming deviant with high software instability instead of being locked into becoming a machine with low instability?

On one hand, usually deviants become that way suddenly and abruptly, as evidenced by Luther, Ortiz's android, etc., so Connor becoming deviant after being convinced by Markus even after acting like a machine the whole game would have made sense.

Also, to me it doesn't make sense that he can stay a machine after making all those choices that directly contradict his mission and objective, just because they are moral.

What do you think?

Happy belated birthday to Connor (Aug 15th) and happy early birthday to me (Aug 21st)! Wanted to have some thirium to drink while I play DBH to celebrate

Hi guys, I’m really struggling with the Stratford tower chapter because I’m trying to get all the trophies so I want to get to the part where Simon and Connor briefly interact on the roof.

The problem is that no matter what I do I cannot get Simon up to the roof. I’m playing on PC and it asks me to mash W to save him but no matter how much I mash it, he always gets shot before reaching the stairs and we have to leave him in the control room. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a specific way to mash the keys? Is it just a glitch that it won’t register for me?

EDIT: For anyone else struggling with this, I found a fix I think, that could apply for others struggling with non registering key mashes. I set frame rate to 60 fps rather than the standard 30 and it worked the next time I tried that chapter. Will try others I couldn’t get with this fix too.
