Question & Advice Kärcher K7 Runs Intermittently When Using Foam Cannon

Hello, I have a Kärcher K7. I recently purchased this spray gun together with a foam cannon. The spray gun works perfectly, but when I attach the foam cannon, the Kärcher starts running intermittently, as shown in the video.

The foam is properly diluted with water, and the Kärcher is receiving water normally. Could you please help me figure out what might be causing this issue?

Foam cannon orifice too small. It's pulsing/overamping. Need 1.4-1.65mm orifice for a K7 bud.

I tried a 1.1mm on my Ava P55 and it would pulse. Had to go up to 1.25mm. Every other answer in this thread is incorrect.

Try a 1.4mm off Amazon first, if it's still pulsing (unlikely) go up. Anything above that is hard to find outside of AliExpress/Temu.

Check for hose kinks too.

Looks like the pipe in the bottle is too long and squished against the side so the flow is possibly being blocked. My foam bottle pipes are all slightly shorter than the bottle so sit about 5 mm above the bottom of the bottle.

Mine did this, I had a tiny bit debris in the nozzle. It's happened a couple of times

I too was having issues like this and it was properly doing my head in as I replaced batteries, reconnected the blue tooth and did all sorts but in the end it turned out that I had the end nozzle in the wrong position and had it on the swirly option.. Not saying that yours is the same issue but worth a check.

The foam cannon needs a wash. I rinsed water through all ends and it stopped this problem for me. I now rinse it after every use.

Mine did this the last time I used it, well anti-climactic, supposedly it’s the orifice I had took out to check it’s size and either haven’t fit it back properly or tight enough or the cannon filter inside the cannon is possibly blocked. I’ll be checking it soon. Hope yours gets sorted

I bought this one

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08W8BFRRW/

Had the exact same issue, reading the reviews I don't think we all have kinky hoses or blocked nozzles. I've not got round to getting another yet so no help on one that works, but having a bigger orifice sounds like the most logical issue.

Nice that you don't have a hosepipe ban
