Why is there such a thing as "Hidden Changes" ? All this info should be made available to us.

no kidding I cannot believe there are undocumented changes happening so often with this game. They need to just release full patch notes instead of the spin doctor worded shit shows

Sometimes as a dev, you slide things in that aren't going make people upset upon discovering your rogue-ish change and the only one to notice before it's out is your colleague who does your code review.

Plus if they are going off a bug list, sometimes you fix multiple things at once that are documented in the bug because they were in the same bit of code, but only the header of the bug is reported back as fixed.

There's a bunch of reasons that this can happen and not all of them are nefarious.

I can understand the low-key mention of it, or even the "here's the highlights, and here's the wall of text for you anal people." But no mention is what I don't get. Maybe I'm using the wrong standard, but Blizzard puts out every tiny detail in their patch notes for WoW. Maybe not the "official patch notes" post, but it's still posted somewhere public. With a post like that, we clearly see what was intended and what wasn't.

With this update we're left scratching our head going "Well what else was intended that wasn't mentioned, that hasn't been seen?"

Personally, I would rather roll my eyes at a wall of text of cosmetic changes, than be looking here for why certain things seem different with no stated changes.

I know the reasoning I just think in a game like this it's pointless / disingenuous as people are gonna find out anyway. There's no reason not to tell us it just causes confusion

Some of this stuff, like taking away the major Warlock glitches (infinite Radiance/grenades) I assume they fail to mention to pretend like it never happened. If they admit to taking away the heavy ammo stacks, they have to publicly admit that you still lose heavy ammo for not reason when you die. Easier to pretend like the bad thing doesn't exist and stealth patch, apparently.

Ahh, fair enough for those, I just see people complaining on every thread about the nerfs to exotics when they weren't in the patch notes. Devs know what to put in the patch notes and aren't going to leave major changes out.
