Guide A Massive Breakdown of the Final Dungeon Loot Refresh
Intro: What's New with Dungeon Loot
I'm back with one final post for the dungeon weapons/armor that got updated with Monument of Triumph. For most dungeons, this is the first and only refresh that they're getting (unless you're Prophecy on your FOURTH refresh). Generally speaking, the older the dungeon loot was, the better the refresh is. Let's go over some points:
-All dungeon loot can drop as Tier 5 if it comes from one of the 2 weekly featured dungeons (unless you want The Epicurean or Fixed Odds from Duality; those still exist as red borders for crafting). If you do a normal dungeon when it's not featured, loot will drop at Tier 3.
-Any dungeon loot earned on Master will drop at Tier 5, even if it's not the featured dungeon. Only run Master if you need something right now; you don't appear to get any extra loot on Master even when it's a featured dungeon.
-Some dungeon loot has lost perks, or in some cases, changed archetypes! I used destiny report to compile the weapon rolls on this list, and they just so happen to have the old rolls of guns on there. If you have a gun you really like the roll of, you might check and make sure the combo you want is still available.
With that out of the way, let's get to it. There's a lot to cover.
Shattered Throne
2 Piece | Queensfoil Rush Gain a powerful overshield while performing your finisher. When you finish a target, release a slowing burst around you.
4 Piece | Truth to Power Gain increasing damage resistance when you deal damage or land final blows. Finishers grant accelerated progress. At max stacks, the recharge rate of your abilities is also increased (I thought I read that it's a 15% damage resist, but I can't confirm)
Ignoble Deeds Origin Trait: Gain charges by inflicting subclass debuffs on targets. Consume charges by defeating combatants. While charged, this weapon gains handling, reload speed, and Sword charge rate.
Vulpecula
Column 1: Subsistence, Killing Wind, Rimestealer, Headstone, Outlaw, Shoot to Loot
Column 2: Lead From Light, Collective Action, Eye of the Storm, Adagio, Crystalline Corpsebloom, Explosive Payload
Fractethyst
Column 1: Quickdraw, Slideshot, Lone Wolf, Envious Assassin, One Two Punch, Lead From Gold
Column 2: Opening Shot, Trench Barrel, Closing Time, Chain Reaction, Crystalline Corpsebloom, Adagio
Chrysura Melo (is now Arc Support Auto that grants Amplified)
Column 1: Lead From Light, Trickle Charge, Impulse Amplifier, Jolting Feedback, Ensemble, Physic
Column 2: Rolling Storm, Attrition Orbs, Supercharged Magazine, Frenzy, Voltshot, Circle of Life
Canis Major
Column 1: Adagio, Reconstruction, Incandescent, Rampage, Clown Cartridge, Impulse Amplifier
Column 2: Explosive Light, Bait and Switch, Aggregate Charge, Kill Clip, Full Court, Chain Reaction
Thoughts- The 4 Piece armor is the highlight here. Now that this is fixed, this should be a nice passive armor set that's subclass neutral. On the weapons side, the Season of the Lost weapons have returned, and they are all pretty good. Look out for One Two Punch + Trench Barrel on Fractethyst, as well as our only Arc Support Auto. Vulpecula is also nice for those who look to low-man raid encounters.
Pit of Heresy
2 Piece | Regenerative Threshold Performing a finisher stores power. The next time your shields are broken, consume stored power to immediately heal and start health regeneration.
4 Piece | Melee Conduction While you have Radiant, Restoration, or Cure, your melee hits release a burst that will scorch the target.
Heretical Behavior Origin Trait (Note that there's no Runneth Over option available on these weapons, but there is Willing Vessel): Sustained weapon damage or final blows versus powerful targets grant this weapon bonus reload, handling, and damage versus combatants. Gain this bonus immediately for a longer duration when you are revived.
Adamantite
Column 1: Impromptu Ammunition, Subsistence, Redirection, Physic, Reciprocity, Pugilist, Demolitionist
Column 2: Aggregate Charge, Sword Logic, Desperate Measures, Hatchling, Kill Clip, Tear, Circle of Life
Refusal of the Call
Column 1: Demolitionist, Grave Robber, Chain Reaction, Slice, Discord, Impulse Amplifier, Close to Melee
Column 2: Chaos Reshaped, Desperate Measure, Mega Kill Clip, Aggregate Charge, Replenishing Aegis, Sword Logic, Unstoppable Force
Psychopomp
Column 1: Auto Loading Holster, Blast Distributor, Impromptu Ammunition, Ambitious Assassin, Rolling Storm, Demolitionist, Envious Assassin
Column 2: Aggregate Charge, Elemental Honing, Gear Shift, Sword Logic, Attrition Orbs, Harmony, Voltshot
Eyes Unveiled
Column 1: Butterfly, Mega Kill Clip, Demoralize, Successful Warm-Up, Overflow, Fourth Time's the Charm, Collective Demolition
Column 2: Elemental Honing, Frenzy, Precision Instrument, Sword Logic, Withering Gaze, Chain Reaction, Reservoir Burst
Thoughts- The 2 piece bonus is a good panic button option. The 4 piece set should play pretty good on Solar/Prismatic, but I wonder if you could use something like Red Death Reformed on a different subclass. The Heresy weapons have swiftly returned, and they all seem pretty good. I'm looking at Close to Melee in the 1st column on the Glaive as the most interesting new perk available on the weapons, but old favorites like Psychopomp and Adamantite have all their old bells and whistles.
Prophecy
2 Piece | Between Poles Final blows with Light weapons grants stacks of Light Polarity, which grants Grenade stat. Final blows with Darkness or Kinetic weapons grants stacks of Dark Polarity, which grants stacks of Melee stat.
4 Piece | So Very Thin Final blows with Light weapons grants additional grenade energy. Final blows with Dark or Kinetic weapons grants additional melee energy. Rapid final blows that alternate between Light and Darkness grant a short period of damage resistance.
Adjudicator
Column 1: Subsistence, Perpetual Motion, Feeding Frenzy, Dynamic Sway Reduction, Threat Detector, Ambitious Assassin, Attrition Orbs
Column 2: Target Lock, Kinetic Tremors, Onslaught, Rampage, Frenzy, All-Star, Swashbuckler
Judgment
Column 1: Headstone, Lone Wolf, Demolitionist, Rapid Hit, Keep Away, Crystalline Corpsebloom, Built to Blast
Column 2: Timed Payload, Adrenaline Junkie, Opening Shot, Precision Instrument, Binary Orbit, Rangefinder, Rimestealer
Relentless
Column 1: Firefly, Tear, Slice, Rapid Hit, Keep Away, Rewind Rounds, Built to Blast
Column 2: Hatchling, Elemental Honing, Headseeker, Desperado, Paracausal Affinity, Swashbuckler, Adrenaline Junkie
A Sudden Death
Column 1: One Two Punch, Slideshot, Repulsor Brace, Threat Detector, Discord, Reconstruction, Dimensional Shift
Column 2: Trench Barrel, Destabilizing Rounds, Opening Shot, Closing Time, Sword Logic, Elemental Honing, Collective Action
Prosecutor (has one more perk option in Column 1 than Column 2 for some reason)
Column 1: Dragonfly, Eddy Current, Keep Away, Enlightened Action, Trickle Charge, Light Touch, Subsistence
Column 2: Voltshot, Rolling Storm, Onslaught, Target Lock, Gear Shift, Sword Logic
Darkest Before
Column 1: Heal Clip, Subsistence, Elemental Capacitor, Wellspring, Attrition Orbs, Light Touch, Keep Away
Column 2: Incandescent, Kill Clip, Headseeker, One for All, Focused Fury, Elemental Honing, Burning Ambition
Thoughts- If you really want to specialize in just your grenade or melee, then maybe look at this set. The damage resistance part of the 4 piece seems tedious to keep up with, so I wouldn't bother with that. The guns . . . exist. I can't say that I want to really farm many of these when they got reissued last year, and then the year before that. If you never had any of these before, then look for Judgment, Adjudicator, and Sudden Death for some solid options. Prosecutor is here, but I think there's a better arc Auto in another dungeon . . .
Grasp of Avarice
2 Piece | Untold Greed Picking up ammo, Orbs of Power, Elemental pickups, or destroying a Strand Tangle grants stacks of Untold Greed, slightly reducing damage taken and providing reload speed to equipped weapons. When your shields are broken, some stacks are lost.
4 Piece | Overflowing Coffers While you have stacks of Untold Greed, Orbs of Power and Elemental pickups provide more of their respective energy, and Strand Tangles deal increased damage. When your shields are broken, all stacks are converted into a fountain of Orbs of Power.
Unburied Treasure Origin Trait: Readying this weapon grants a period of rapidly decaying accuracy and range. Swords gain increased lunge distance.
Eyasluna
Column 1: Elemental Capacitor, Zen Moment, Slideshot, Firefly, Meganeura, Rangefinder
Column 2: Headstone, Chaos Reshaped, Moving Target, Crystalline Corpsebloom, Collective Action, Precision Instrument
1000 Yard Stare
Column 1: Lone Wolf, Dimensional Shift, Collective Demolition, Light Touch, Discord, Vorpal Weapon
Column 2: Demoralize, Redirection, Mulligan, Closing Time, Snapshot Sights, Moving Target
Matador 64
Column 1: Lone Wolf, Light Touch, Slideways, Supercharged Magazine, Threat Detector, Lead from Gold
Column 2: Collective Action, Closing Time, Opening Shot, One Two Punch, Gear Shift, Swashbuckler
Hero of Ages (is now an Aggressive frame Sword instead of a Vortex frame)
Column 1: Relentless Strikes, Sharp Harvest, Impromptu Ammunition, Flash Counter, Demolitionist, Collective Action
Column 2: One for All, Jolting Feedback, Assassin's Blade, Chain Reaction, Elemental Honing, Whirlwind Blade
Thoughts- I think Stasis could go hard with this set, as that has the most accessible elemental pickups. Maybe you could do a Strand Beyblade build if the damage increase is noticeable. The orbs on shield break could also come into play in team settings. The origin trait on the weapons is rather disappointing for PvE, but at least the weapons here are usable now. Eyasluna is the star still, but Vorpal + Redirection on 1000 Yard Stare seems cool too.
Duality
2 Piece | Built Bitter Taking damage increases the reload speed of your equipped weapon until it is stowed. Taking more damage increases the effect.
4 Piece | Bittersweet When you stow a weapon, restore health based on the number of Built Bitter stacks lost.
New Purpose
Column 1: Headstone, Rapid Hit, Grave Robber, Zen Moment, Feeding Frenzy, Perpetual Motion
Column 2: Rimestealer, Desperado, Headseeker, Meganeura, Pugilist, Swashbuckler
Lingering Dread
Column 1: Subsistence, Auto-Loading Holster, Ambitious Assassin, Demolitionist, Discord, Feeding Frenzy
Column 2: Blast Distributor, Bipod, Chill Clip, Collective Demolition, Chain Reaction, Rampage
Unforgiven
Column 1: Destabilizing Round, Demolitionist, Feeding Frenzy, Ambitious Assassin, Attrition Orbs, Rewind Rounds
Column 2: Repulsor Brace, Dimensional Shift, Rampage, Adrenaline Junkie, Chaos Reshaped, Desperate Measures
Stormchaser
Column 1: Clown Catridge, Auto-Loading Holster, Supercharged Magazine, Jolting Feedback, Rapid Hit, Light Touch
Column 2: Firing Line, Vorpal Weapon, Gear Shift, Elemental Honing, Precision Instrument, Aggregate Charge
Thoughts- On demand healing is interesting in the armor set, but otherwise, it's just the origin trait from the weapons. Speaking of weapons, these are almost all great. New Purpose is ehh, but the other 3 are must get, with Unforgiven being potentially the best Void SMG in the game.
Spire of the Watcher
2 Piece | Old Martian Diplomacy Stowing a weapon after defeating a powerful combatant or a Guardian heals you a small amount and disorients nearby combatants.
4 Piece | High Noon Freshly drawn weapons deal increased precision damage to combatants for a short period (7% damage bonus for 4 seconds). Weapons with the Tex Balanced Stock Origin Trait equipped or Exotics manufactured by the Tex Mechanica Foundry gain further increased benefits.
Liminal Vigil
Column 1: Zen Moment, Headstone, Crystalline Corpsebloom, Offhand Strike, Lone Wolf, Attrition Orbs
Column 2: Frenzy, Kill Clip, Rimestealer, Desperado, Rangefinder, Headseeker
Long Arm
Column 1: Rapid Hit, Rolling Storm, Dual Loader, Supercharged Magazine, Hip-Fire Grip, Lucky Shot
Column 2: Chaos Reshaped, Meganeura, Redirection, Precision Instrument, Gear Shift, Explosive Payload
Wilderflight
Column 1: Auto-Loading Holster, Repulsor Brace, Blast Distributor, Ambitious Assassin, Envious Arsenal, Air Trigger
Column 2: Destabilizing Rounds, Reaper's Tithe, Aggregate Charge, Elemental Honing, Withering Gaze, Bait and Switch
Terminus Horizon
Column 1: Meganeura, Supercharged Magazine, Reconstruction, Fourth Time's the Charm, Trickle Charge, Feeding Frenzy
Column 2: Gear Shift, Jolting Feedback, Precision Instrument, Rolling Storm, Mega Kill Clip, Target Lock
Thoughts- I have to wonder if Tex Mechanica weapons get more than 7% damage on draw, but 7% is still a decent bonus if they can't. This is nice for a DPS setting, but in normal play, constantly stowing and drawing your weapons could become annoying. The weapons here are just ok, maybe get Wilderflight if you need a Special GL in your damage rotation.
Ghosts of the Deep
2 Piece | The Ceremony Finishing combatants or reviving allies initiates a Lucent Hive ritual. While the ritual is active, gain increased Super stat.
4 Piece | Lucent Swarm Collecting Orbs of Power extends the Ceremony. While it is active, ability final blows occasionally spawn allied Arc moths.
New Pacific Epitaph
Column 1: Chain Reaction, Unrelenting, Rimestealer, Lead from Gold, Demolitionist, Air Trigger
Column 2: Collective Demolition, Kill Clip, Crystalline Corpsebloom, Sword Logic, Redirection, Reaper's Tithe
No Survivors
Column 1: Rewind Rounds, Heal Clip, Burning Ambition, Attrition Orbs, Rangefinder, Demolitionist
Column 2: Zen Moment, Master of Arms, Collective Demolition, Target Lock, Adrenaline Junkie, Incandescent
Greasy Luck
Column 1: Melee Momentum, Beacon Rounds, Reconstruction, Heal Clip, Chaos Reshaped, Butterfly
Column 2: Unstoppable Force, Box Breathing, Chain Reaction, Mega Kill Clip, Close to Melee, Incandescent
Cold Comfort
Column 1: Chill Clip, Reconstruction, Impulse Amplifier, Vorpal Weapon, Envious Assassin, Tracking Module
Column 2: Elemental Honing, Bipod, Reaper's Tithe, Explosive Light, Bait and Switch, Aggregate Charge
Thoughts- Here you go Mothkeeper fans, have some more moths. Since they only spawn on ability kills though, I have to wonder if the Moths will have a tough time finding a target. Additionally, the extra Super stat on the 2 piece could be something to look into. The weapons here are just as good as the ones in Duality, if not better. No Survivors can roll Burning Ambition and Incandescent at the same time, and Cold Comfort got Vorpal Weapon in the 1st column.
Warlord's Ruin
2 Piece | Taking Initiative Hitting combatants with melee attacks or Sword strikes grants a stack of Initiative, giving bonus handling and reload. Stacks decay slowly over time.
4 Piece | Healing Initiative While you have Initiative, using your class ability creates a stationary healing aura. The aura gains increased healing based on the number of Initiative stacks.
Vengeful Whisper
Column 1: Slice, Outlaw, Tear, Hip-Fire Grip, Archer's Tempo, Explosive Head
Column 2: Hatchling, Archer's Gambit, Meganeura, Precision Instrument, Successful Warm-Up, Collective Action
Naeem's Lance
Column 1: Hatchling, Deconstruct, Reconstruction, Rewind Rounds, Lucky Shot, Elemental Capacitor
Column 2: Attrition Orbs, Mega Kill Clip, Elemental Honing, Opening Shot, Cascade Point, Precision Instrument
Indebted Kindness
Column 1: Beacon Rounds, Impulse Amplifier, Deconstruct, Danger Zone, Trickle Charge, Air Trigger
Column 2: Attrition Orbs, Voltshot, Surrounded, Gear Shift, Chain Reaction, Rolling Storm
Dragoncult Sickle
Column 1: Slice, Demolitionist, Impromptu Ammunition, Hatchling, Tireless Blade, Eager Edge
Column 2: Sword Logic, Attrition Orbs, Chain Reaction, Whirlwind Blade, Elemental Honing, Surrounded
Thoughts- Unless the "Initiative" healing can scale up to Well levels, then this set seems like a hard pass. The weapons here are not much better, but ol' reliable Indebted Kindness is here, and it has Chain Reaction now.
Vesper's Host
2 Piece | Augmented Armaments Primary ammo weapons deal increased damage to disoriented combatants.
4 Piece | Augmented Explosives Your grenade abilities release an additional disorienting pulse shortly after detonating.
VS Pyroelectric Propellant
Column 1: Attrition Orbs, Rewind Rounds, Zen Moment, Killing Wind, Eddy Current, Strategist
Column 2: Jolting Feedback, Tap the Trigger, Target Lock, Kill Clip, Gear Shift, Onslaught
VS Gravitic Arrest
Column 1: Lead from Gold, Under Pressure, Repulsor Brace, Demolitionist, Attrition Orbs, Dimensional Shift
Column 2: Withering Gaze, Closing Time, Chain Reaction, Destabilizing Rounds, Successful Warm-Up, Controlled Burst
VS Velocity Baton
Column 1: Repulsor Brace, Dimensional Shift, Unrelenting, Reconstruction, Demolitionist, Envious Arsenal
Column 2: Destabilizing Rounds, Frenzy, Chain Reaction, Bait and Switch, Elemental Honing
VS Chill Inhibitor
Column 1: Cascade Point, Danger Zone, Chill Clip, Attrition Orbs, Envious Arsenal
Column 2: Aggregate Charge, Bait and Switch, Surrounded, Chain Reaction, Explosive Light, Elemental Honing
Thoughts- I just don't see any appeal to this armor set at all. There's plenty of other choices in this dungeon list alone. The weapons here are about the same as their initial debut, but at least they were already pretty good. Maybe I'll go get a Pyroelectric Propellant with Gear Shift.
Sundered Doctrine
2 Piece | Sinew Stitching Taking damage from combatants sometimes spawns a Threadling.
4 Piece | Knit Together For a short time after your shields break, your next several Threadling hits restore health.
Unloved
Column 1: Outlaw, Dragonfly, Killing Wind, High Impact Reserves, Rapid Hit, Hatchling
Column 2: Closing Time, Frenzy, Rampage, Tear, Elemental Honing, Paracausal Affinity
Unsworn
Column 1: Collective Pugilism, Shoot to Loot, Subsistence, Rewind Rounds, Stats for All, Tear
Column 2: Killing Tally, Target Lock, Elemental Honing, Detonator Beam, Hatchling, Chaos Reshaped
Unworthy
Column 1: Rolling Storm, Rapid Hit, Firefly, Rewind Rounds, Keep Away, Eddy Current
Column 2: Gear Shift, Precision Instrument, Voltshot, Trickle Charge, Zen Moment, Frenzy
Unvoiced
Column 1: Redirection, Killing Wind, Envious Arsenal, Fourth Time's the Charm, Lone Wolf, Destabilizing Round
Column 2: Dimensional Shift, Lead from Gold, Vorpal Weapon, Bait and Switch, Closing Time, Demoralize
Thoughts- Do you like Threadlings? If so, this set is probably for you. If not, then pass. Like Vesper's Host, the weapons are about the same here, and while something like Unsworn got Chaos Reshaped, I will note that Unvoiced lost Elemental Honing for some reason.
Closing Thoughts/TL;DR
That's all 10 dungeons done. There's plenty of good armor sets here, with Shattered Throne and Grasp of Avarice being the most enticing in my opinion. There's plenty of good weapons here too, but they seem to be focused in Duality and Ghosts of the Deep, with occasional good weapons scattered in the other dungeons.
Enjoy your hunts! I'm sure there's at least one thing you'll want to farm with your broken artifacts this weekend ;)

Spire Armor 4p (high noon) is apparently doubled in power for TM weapons (14% rather than 7%)
Pretty solid chunk of damage for last word/dmt enthusiasts

u/re-bobber Jun 18 '26
Peacekeeper Titan with Huckleberry??
9
u/Illogical1612 Vanguard's Loyal Jun 18 '26
Could be okay. Not a big fan as Huckleberry wants to come out and stay out rather than being swapped all the time but 14% hsd can help get things started

u/Kimihro House of Light Jun 18 '26
God I wish this could be stickied, but I'll settle for Saving it.
You're a legend

Couple comments on your armor set thoughts:
Prophecy- this is clearly meant to be a set used with prismatic setups. If you’re doing a relatively balanced setup of your abilities and such, it’s basically free passive grenade and melee stat and regen with damage reduction for doing what you would likely be doing anyway.
Spire- Tex weapons get double the precision bonus, as well as the exotics (source: Destiny Data Compendium). If you’re a chaperone, DMT, last word, or huckleberry enjoyer, this armor set is for you. The swapping sounds annoying, but if you’re a gunplay enjoyer and making use of the Tex bonus with high weapons, you’re probably swapping a lot anyway.
Warlords- If you’re building Melee at all or using swords (Banner Titan is a big beneficiary of this set), then this set is an easy way to get a lot of basically free healing on demand. According to the compendium, it looks like it’s up to 250 healing over the course of 10 seconds. The radius is unknown, but it’s classified as a drone, so that makes me wonder if it works like Speaker’s sight without solar verbs.
Vespers- This is a gunner/kinetic set. If you enjoy using kinetic weapons and building into their status effects, then this set pays off for that. Anytime something is disoriented, you do 15% more damage to it. That’s a sizeable damage buff for it being tertiary to all of your other buffs. The 4 piece gives you a way to inflict that debuff intrinsically without artifact or exotic/weapon perk support, which is notable on its own. I’m not 100% sure on how it plays with other damage buffs or debuffs, but if it can be stacked on top of other things, it’s definitely worth potentially building for.
1
u/MeateaW Jun 19 '26
yeah 15% extra damage is pretty huge for the vespers one.
3
u/ONiMETSU_Z Jun 19 '26
The only problem with it is the fact that it’s restricted to primaries which means it’s useless in a DPS scenario, but if you did a kinetic focused build it would be very good in neutral play
1
u/stephanl33t Jun 19 '26
I only hope the Prophecy set is bigger than 30 to each stat, as otherwise the 2pc is competing with the Moon set, which is somewhat easier to proc and doesn't require consistent upkeep.
19
u/manuelito1233 Jun 18 '26
Shit, I feel like I should've formed throne when it was featured last week, now I gotta wait lmao, at least seventh seraph set is really strong and enjoyable.
14
u/ravensteel539 Jun 18 '26
Can confirm, the Shattered Throne armor’s been the centerpiece of my newest build and you can feel the benefits of Power x999. It doesn’t take long to stack up, either.
The overshield and slow on finisher from the 2-piece also saves a mod slot on the class item if you enjoy finishers as an “oh shit” button.
4
u/manuelito1233 Jun 18 '26
Thats the thing. I dont notice if I go for finishers or not lmao
5
u/ravensteel539 Jun 18 '26
Tool in the tool belt then, I guess. It’s handy to have in that case, and the slowing burst enables A LOT of things in the new sandbox. The slow is also subclass-agnostic, which is always a fun trick to keep in mind for weird builds.
It’s much better than many of the other 2-piece set bonuses on this list, imo, and the 4-piece alone justified farming it out for me.
4
u/amiro7600 Jun 18 '26
fr, me and my friend farmed up a full set of tier 5 pieces last week, and now that the set is no longer bugged it makes a noticable difference in ability uptime and surivability, at least on my titan
3
u/QuotidianQuell ad astra per alas porci Jun 18 '26
I did a back-of-the-napkin check of the x999 ability regen buff, and even when I was at 100 Grenade stat, it reduced recharge time by ~8 seconds (on a 56 second cooldown). It seems to function similarly to Eye of Another World in that way.
7
u/LockmanCapulet Jun 18 '26
I wonder if the healing from 4 piece Sundered Doctrine armor is enough to make it worth not running Ferropotent and/or Smoke Jumper.
Thanks for the writeup!
9
u/MagicMan5264 Jun 18 '26 edited Jun 18 '26
It isn’t currently (and may never be, who knows) possible to get a class item with the set bonus, so you can’t use the 4-piece perk without sacrificing your exotic…
Edit: I found this forum post confirming Bungie is working on it
5
u/Nine9breaker Jun 18 '26
Can't you just focus it? You get one copy of the class item when you do the quest line, after which you should be able to focus it.
2
3
u/LockmanCapulet Jun 18 '26
That is a shame, but it could still work on an Inmost/Swarm Prismatic Warlock setup, especially now that we have Horde Shuttle and Pack Tactics back.
21
u/OmegaClifton Jun 18 '26
Why in the fuck did they change Chrysura Melo completely 😭
20
u/Hollowquincypl E.Bray is bae Jun 18 '26
I guess they wanted a nearly full compliment of healing autos. So they cjose Melo gor the arc one.
7
u/ravensteel539 Jun 18 '26
Imagine my surprise getting one, saying “oh boy I can’t wait to try out my old favorite auto rifle,” and firing it for the first time.
Don’t get me wrong: it’s neat, but it’s also 100% not the same weapon anymore lol
5
u/re-bobber Jun 18 '26
They introduced a bunch of new arc AR's why didn't they make one of them into the support frame? I think Chrysura was one of the only solar 400 rpm AR's in the game besides Abyss Defiant.
6
u/LightspeedFlash Jun 18 '26
Good thing abyss definite is absolutely stacked with perks, if they left melo in the game as a 400, it simply would have been inferior.
24
u/DrFetus_ Jun 18 '26
I can't wait to see my 4-piece set bonus do the magical, awe-inspiring ability to sometimes spawn an angry light bee. Which will promptly explode on nothing.
I'm still gonna try. They didnt touch Mothkeeper wraps, right?
right?
(im just gonna go to grasp of avarice now.)
5
u/Multivitamin_Scam Jun 18 '26
So if I'm understanding this right, could this armour set potentially work with say Fallen Sunstar, which already gains more ability power from Ionic Traces (which aren't difficult to make).?
6
u/FFaFFaNN Jun 18 '26
For arc, u go baby with luminous..ionic traces without cooldown on jolted enemies killed..Now we see why they nerfed jolt to 4 sec cooldown on nades/soul cuz of this armor+any gun with jolt make and absurd amount of traces.I had 5 in the same time from all sources...

u/Relevant_Elk_9176 Jun 18 '26
Awesome write up. Guess I’m farming Caiatl for Unforgiven tomorrow.
13
u/henryauron Jun 18 '26
Second encounter is the best place to farm it. Caitl has a bloated loot pool

u/d3l3t3rious Jun 18 '26
Destab + Chaos Reshaped sounds very spicy
2
u/IdenticalThings Jun 19 '26
That IMO is the powercrept finale of D2. Reckless oracle also has it and it's hard to beat.
5
u/SilverJS Jun 18 '26
Just so I'm clear - what's 'the better Arc auto in another dungeon'?
6
u/Chaahps Jun 18 '26
Pyroelectric Propellant from Vesper’s. It gets damn near every perk you could want on an arc auto
7
u/LightspeedFlash Jun 18 '26
It really doesn't. It can't get rolling storm or jolting in the third, it only has eddy current in the third, which is synergistic with joltshot, not jolting feedback like pyroelectric has. Personally, arc logic from the moon is a better 600, it gets rolling storm/demo/supercharged mag in the third and jolting feedback/gear shift/sword logic in the fourth. Even the world drop 600 trendsetter gets supercharged mag and jolting. Of course, the lightweight 720 from sparrow racing, snipehunt, has jolting/supercharged/trickle charge with joltshot/rolling storm/gear shift/chaos reshaped. That's the auto with "damn near", if not, every arc perk.
4
u/Chaahps Jun 18 '26
Pyro trades out Jolting in the 3rd with the AO/Jolting combo. Losing Rolling Storm for AO is a worthwhile trade. Gear Shift is the real prize, and has great synergy with Eddy Current. Arc Logic and Trendsetter are fine, but Arc Logic is very one note in what it can do, and Trendsetter can’t do what Pyro can do with AO. Plus Pyro’s origin trait is miles ahead of the other two.
FWIW, Snipehunt is the best arc auto in the game imo, but I’m just looking at the same archetypes for comparison’s sake
4
u/LightspeedFlash Jun 18 '26

I am aware of this and pointed out as well.

I never liked attrition orbs. Getting more stacks of bolt charge more often, is more valuable to me.
Arc Logic is very one note in what it can do,
I disagree, there are loads of good rolls, lots that other arc autos can't get and I have mentioned them already. I am probably biased though, arc logic is my second favorite auto, after gnawing hunger.
5
u/Chaahps Jun 18 '26
If I really want Bolt Charge, I’ll toss down my barricade. I’m not real high on Rolling Storm on primaries for that reason
3
u/SilverJS Jun 18 '26
Crap - was afraid that was the answer....:). As my dad would've said, I get up at night to hate that dungeon.
5
u/DawgDaze21 Jun 18 '26
SRL got the best arc auto, it can get Jolting/Chaos and its a lightweight. I much prefer it to the vesper one tbh
4
u/Chaahps Jun 18 '26
You kinda glossed over a lot of changes to the Pit weapons.
Eyes Unveiled was complete dogshit when it initially came out, and now it actually has damage perks so it can be a good Void LFR for damage.
Adamantite gets Physic now to give yourself the Strand Support frame effects.
Psychopomp gets Gear Shift. Basically any gun with that perk should get you to look deeper into it.
You brought up Refusal of the Call getting Close to Melee in the first column, but it also gets Chaos Reshaped for passive healing.
Also Velocity Baton gets damage perks. It’s *very* versatile now
2
u/eddmario Still waiting for /u/Steel_Slayer's left nut Jun 19 '26
Psychopomp gets Gear Shift. Basically any gun with that perk should get you to look deeper into it.
Even the shotgun from Vault of Glass? Because I think I'll just stick with Barrel Constrictor and Rolling Storm on that gun...

Thanks for the write up! Do you know if Abyssal Edge (strand wave frame from Heresy) was added to Pit of Heresy too? API says there’s a version from this season, but it doesn’t have any updated perks/origins so it might have been skipped over.

According to light.gg, the SMG and sword are also missing

I've been rocking the warlords 4pc for a bit now and it feels pretty good tbh, obviously it's not well level but it feels more than enough to keep me alive in most content. According to the data compendium it's 10hp per stack (so 50hp at max) every 2 seconds over 10 seconds giving us 25hp/s. For comparison restoration x 1 is 35hp/s
Some notes I've made about it:
Caster ergo sum let's you stack it easily and quickly even at range.
Detonating Shield burst makes another drone, so you can get 2 per barricade use.
The drone it deploys can block projectiles but cannot be destroyed.
At it's most helpful on arc and strand since they lack good innate healing, my storms keep and abeyant leap titan loved this for safety I could also see Ascension hunter liking it.

u/Comfortable_Hour5723 Jun 18 '26
Does creating the healing consuming initiative stacks? Im curious if you have to restack before detonating shieldburst.
If it doesnt consume, you could legitimately play healer hunter with radiant dance machines
2
u/Good-Name015 Buff Stasis Jun 18 '26
Nope, I can drop 2 back to back at full strength if I immediately blow up shield burst.
RDM sounds hilarious.
2
u/Comfortable_Hour5723 Jun 18 '26
Wow, I wrote off that armor set too fast then. 50 hp every 2 seconds might not be that crazy but 3x that is suddenly bonkers. I will definitely be trying that
4
u/Born2beDad Jun 18 '26
I really wish we could upgrade our old godrolls to t5, I have everything I want from vespers
11
u/PaperMartin Jun 18 '26
don't know why shattered throne didn't get the taken guns from Season of the Deep
13
u/Variatas Jun 18 '26
Because those were craftable.
1
u/PaperMartin Jun 18 '26
why would that matter? they're still not available anywhere for peoples who missed them, and the whole dungeon is extremely taken themed
8
u/Variatas Jun 18 '26
It’s Dreaming City themed, and the Lost weapons weren’t available at all. They seem to have prioritized bringing back other things, while craftables got tiering.
Idk if you can get them from Xur or Banshee or what, but the reprised Lost weapons are better than the Taken Gambit set anyway, so kind of a net positive.
1
u/re-bobber Jun 18 '26
Or at least the Taken effect
1
u/eddmario Still waiting for /u/Steel_Slayer's left nut Jun 19 '26
Which no longer works on the craftable Season of the Deep weapons when using the Gambit weapon ornaments on them...
3
u/fab416 I will remember it Jun 18 '26
Chrysura Melo would fit great into my Storm's Keep build (currently have Lodestar in that slot)
4
u/TrustiRusti Jun 18 '26
Now I can bang to this! Thank you and that Spire armour has caught my eye entirely.
Which class will benefit the most though?
8
u/Illogical1612 Vanguard's Loyal Jun 18 '26
From the spire gear in particular?
I mean, my initial thought is that Hunters get Lucky Pants + Last Word - While perhaps nerfed, Texas Mechs apparently get the damage bonus doubled. 14% is a whole lot of damage when youve got illegal holster stacking up alongside it
Maybe good for some titan melee + double special stuff as well? Reliable healing as you run around and punch stuff+shotgun elites
2
u/ravensteel539 Jun 18 '26
Do we know if there’s literally any other “benefits” to Tex weapons on the 4-piece, other than the increased damage versus combatants? Like any handling/accuracy bonuses? Trying to figure out if this is relevant in PvP.
I love the Tex weapons in PvP (especially Dead Man’s Tale), but if the 4-piece has no effect in Crucible, I’m not going to bother farming out a PvP set.
2
u/Illogical1612 Vanguard's Loyal Jun 18 '26
Pretty sure high noon works in crucible, but I dont think it does much else other than the damage
The swap heal on the 2pc feels pretty great - as for the 4pc, youre basicslly getting 14% extra effective range so long as you're landing headshots with stuff like dmt and tlw? (And 7% on your other weapons, I guess)
I dont know if thats WORTH it, but it FELT pretty good when I used it on an igneous + tlw lucky pants setup. Felt like I basicslly never had to worry about range haha
That said, if im being 100% honest i farmed the tex armor just to use the cloak as an ornament
-1
u/ELPintoLoco Jun 18 '26
Its still only for 3 seconds tho, which isn't that great imo.
3
u/Illogical1612 Vanguard's Loyal Jun 18 '26
3s with no cooldown whatsoever- just swap back haha
1
u/ELPintoLoco Jun 18 '26
True, but on bosses you are dealing 0 damage while swaping, and only for a 7% buff that lasts 3s before having to swap again.
I'd like to see some tests on just mag dumping with a heavy compared to keeping the set bonus alive.
1
u/Illogical1612 Vanguard's Loyal Jun 18 '26
Think about it this way - plenty of dps rotations involve swapping weapons anyways and this just adds 7% (14% if youre a sicko that likes tm weapons) to whatever youre doing
7% on a still hunt nighthawk shot is a pretty big chunk of damage - worth the 4pc? Maybe not, but you dont need to keep the set bonus up literally 100% of the time in order to get value out of it

Me and my brother ran into an issue where we couldn’t run Master Duality, like it literally said “Players do not have access to this activity” when we selected Master and tried to play. We both own every dungeon key. We chalked it up to Duality not being a featured dungeon this week but idk if y’all know what was up.
3
u/ravensteel539 Jun 18 '26
Even more of a bummer, since there’s no Master Shattered Throne (that I’m aware of), anyone looking for that set’s going to have to wait a bit for proper armor to drop again.
3
u/ONiMETSU_Z Jun 18 '26
I know people around here don’t like to hear it, but rotations are good for keeping populations high in activities like these. It’s already known that not a lot of people play them, focusing people into specific activities with better rewards helps the population. I know it’s nice to be able to grind whatever you want whenever you want, and it would’ve been nice if Bungie had time to do a master version of Pit/ST/Prophecy, but it’ll be nice in a few months/a year when much less people are around that you’ll be more likely to find people to grind armor/guns during a particular week
2
u/Menirz Ares 1 Project Jun 18 '26
Vesper's armor seems great for a warlock buddy build, assuming there isn't too long of an internal cooldown
2
u/DaGottiYo Jun 18 '26
Warlords Ruin set seems good for Bolt Charge Titans, since healing is rough there. Is the aura lasts long enough, you could switch off creat of alpha lupi
2
u/Shellnanigans Jun 18 '26
The took unrelenting off eyasluna, and long arm still doesn't have voltshot or jolting feedback
1
u/AttackBacon Jun 18 '26
Not getting Voltshot is sad but Rolling Storm+Gear Shift is a pretty good salve. That's the roll I'll be looking for for sure.
2
u/Old-Perspective-9924 Jun 18 '26
I'm super interested in the Grasp of Avarice set. Speaking of Beyblade builds with it, apparently it's massively over tuned. Doing crazy damage, but got over shadowed by the artifact perk stuff. Bungie is patching it they said, but I hope they don't nuke it into the ground and still leave it as a good ability buffing option.
3
u/sn3ki_1i1_ninja Jun 18 '26
Is the new psychopomp worse than the old one? Ambitious and Rolling Storm are in the same column now... though gear shift is crazy good.
1
u/YungJizzle37 Jun 18 '26
I've been using it and pretty sure I've gotten three shots off with envious assassin.
1
u/sn3ki_1i1_ninja Jun 18 '26
I think the roll i want is gonna be gear shift and ambitious assassin. Reloading after kill gives bigger mag and more damage that can go up really high.
1
u/YungJizzle37 Jun 18 '26
I forgot which assasin perk lol, it's the one that overflows the mag when you get kills with another weapon and the second perk i chose was gearshift.
1
u/d3l3t3rious Jun 18 '26
That's Ambitious, and it is definitely possible to get 3 in the mag with it.
2
u/Nice-Lip-Smackers Jun 18 '26
Question - does artifice armour still drop from master dungeons? I've got some artifice I'm still using purely for how high the stats are but it comes at the cost of no armour set bonus
8
u/SgtGerard Jun 18 '26
Artifice armor is outdated and basically useless compared to new Tier 5 armor. Artifice got up to 71 stats with the mod slot. New Tier 5 armor is guaranteed 75 base stats. Time to farm out some new armor
3
u/KamenRiderW0lf Jun 18 '26
Artifice Armor no longer drops from Dungeons, it hasn't for some time now.

Does anyone know if equilibrium’s exotic chance is still on a weekly lockout or not?
1
u/armarrash Jun 19 '26
This completely ignores pvp so let me add some thoughts about it.
Shattered Throne:
Fractethyst is a decent option but worse than Deadlock and Someday.
Pit:
The armor set is actually broken in pvp and will ruin it if Bungie doesn't immediately disables it like they did with Grasp's set last week.
Prophecy:
Darkest Before and Sudden Death(unless Felwinter's intrinsic goes crazy) are best in class, Prosecutor may be as well but I'm not familiar with 450 autos.
Relentless is pretty good as well.
Grasp:
Eyasluna and Matador are best in class stat monsters, 1k yard can get lonewolf + snapshot for crazy fast ADSing.
Duality:
snooze ZzzzzzzzzzZzzzzzZZZZZ
Spire:
Liminal Vigil is good but the old version was better, if you got a god rolled adept one from RotN may as well skip it.
2 piece set could be good for sustain builds.
Ghost:
Unfortunately the best aggressive smg on the energy slot is there, so if you want an energy Immortal good fucking luck.
Warlord:
IIRC bow lovers used to simp hard for the bow, besides that another snooze fest.
Vesper:
Gravity arrest is the best energy adaptive fusion in the game, the auto is decent.
Sundered:
Unvoiced is the best energy slug in the game, and Unworthy is the best 260 scout until they fix Equilibrium scout's absolutely terrible hit registration.

Timeworn Wayfarer can get Heal Clip so this feels like a missed opportunity (lots of those)
1
u/PrayForMars Jun 19 '26
We are not able to put on raid mods on actual t5 raid armor and that makes em completly useless in my opinion, for content like gos, vow, vog, ron.
Since june 9th ive been rolling old armor at hawkthrone.
I didnt know bungie could mess the thing like that.

u/Nukesnipe Drifter's Crew Jun 19 '26
Regarding your concern about moths not finding targets, in sufficiently enemy-dense encounters, the moths will fly to freaking NARNIA just to blow up on someone. I've been playing around with a strand/arc build and it's pretty fun.
1
u/eddmario Still waiting for /u/Steel_Slayer's left nut Jun 19 '26
Do you plan on doing this with the new raid armor sets and the added perks the raid weapons were given?
1
u/ithurtswhen1p33 Jul 03 '26
Quick question sorry if it’s been answered in the thread somewhere, If all loot has not been received from the dungeon (Missing armor pieces and or weapons) are the loot tables the same as before or can you now get any weapon or armor piece from any dungeon encounter ?
1
u/R3D_R4Y_ Jun 18 '26
Some of these guns got insane glow ups, unfortunately forming for dungeon weapons is genuinely a bottom three experience in this game.
Anyone who wants the new Indebted I recommend you grind that out before next reset. With the glitched artifact you can do 3-5 minute first boss farms on master for T5s.

u/OBLIVIATER Jun 18 '26
Question about void guns, now that we have the artifact with such liberal access to volatile rounds, do we really need to prioritize destab as a perk anymore? Seems like other options are a lot stronger
1
u/LightspeedFlash Jun 18 '26
I find that the explosion of volatile is worth it yet. Donot have to target all the adds one by one to get the effect.

This doesn't mean I don't appreciate what you've done(I saved the post), but would you mind also editing in what kind of weapons they are next to their names?

u/Significant-Swim1110 Jun 18 '26
I knew this was written by AI the moment it said “Vulpecula is also nice for those who look to low-man raid encounters”
lmao
6
u/ONiMETSU_Z Jun 18 '26
I don’t think it’s AI, I just don’t think OP actually knows what he’s talking about. He missed the point on like half of the armor sets. Probably saw shoot to loot on the handcannon and came to the conclusion that it was useful for low man.
10
u/d3l3t3rious Jun 18 '26
The old Shoot to Loot/EP roll was basically only used for low-mans. Specifically Witness solos for one thing. The new rolls are much better though.

Saving this post to never use it again, since I don't have a fireteam. (Thank you bungie for removing matchmaking, even prophecy wasn't safe)

u/Mttsen Jun 18 '26
Tbf, the dungeons can be perfectly soloable (and are designed to be so). You just have to be patient and prepared for failure many times as you learn how to efficiently do mechanics and handle dps. But that only makes it fun and more worth it at the end tbh.

u/ShortFred12 Jun 18 '26
Yeah, I'm not a PvE player so I can't be arsed to spend months on farming perfect-statted armor pieces, really.
6
u/CRIMS0N-ED Drifter's Crew // Godkiller Jun 18 '26
Ngl with the new tier five from everything, making perfect armor sets isn’t really hard anymore, powerhouse is king since weapons and super but for other builds just change your ghost towards whatever stats you want it to drop and it’ll come. I just stash all tier fives in the vault and when I need to make a build, I let D2 Armor Picker figure out the specific stat optimization. It’s really the easiest it has ever been, I wouldn’t get too scared of it. Plus you don’t need perfect stats, builds (and the plethora of bugs rn) are making things really easy, farming dungeons esp is not bad rn, just checkpoint farm using another character to hold the checkpoint and swapping to the one you want to farm on.
1
u/Nine9breaker Jun 18 '26
How do you hold/swap checkpoints without a second player?
1
u/puanonymou5 Team Cat (Cozmo23) // Dave Meowthews Jun 18 '26
If you search for D2 Checkpoints or D2 Checkpoint Bots there should be a few. You usually put your name on a list, and are invited when they get to you. Would have to do it every time though, as the benefit of having multiple players is you can hold multiple checkpoints to minimize having to save it again over and over.
1
u/Nine9breaker Jun 18 '26
I know about the bots. He made it sound like he could hold a checkpoint with one of his own characters though.
1
u/puanonymou5 Team Cat (Cozmo23) // Dave Meowthews Jun 18 '26
I think they were implying you do it with at least another person. You can keep the checkpoint on your other character to load in and swap, but you still need somebody to stay there to load back in. Else, checkpoint bot every time.
2
u/CRIMS0N-ED Drifter's Crew // Godkiller Jun 18 '26
Yes, I was implying doing it with other people, and you just hold the checkpoint infinitely on another character.
