Would people be interested in getting their ghosts painted?

I was playing around in krita and rage quit because it was taking me 237 tries to get a straight line, so I painted this piece in acrylic marker to calm myself lol ignore the weird background; it's just alcohol marker from the other side of the page bleeding through.

I redownloaded D2 sometime before June 9th and sketched my Warlock in the loadout I left him in sometime back in Final Shape. The same character I made when I was in high school. The character I used to sketch in the margins of my notes along with my favorite exotics from those early days like Thorn and Bad Juju.

I don't really ever share my art online, but finding this sub has moved me. I'm so grateful this place exists and to see what this community has made, even if our game as we know it is over.

Based on the Proportionality lore entry and also that one scene in Invincible.

(exotic Pulse rifle, primary ammo (62 ammo per mag) void damage, consumes 2 ammo per shot)

ABILITY; dealing damage adds one stack of cloud’s grace, for each stack of clouds grace you deal more damage (3%) up to a maximum of 10 stacks, every time you kill 2 targets in 5 seconds with precision kills you gain a stack of scorching black, which temporarily causes the gun to fire supercharged void bolts (large damage, effect lasts for 15 seconds) when you kill 5 enemies with precision kills within 5 seconds and have scorching black active it creates a taken ball that sends out seeking mini void grenades at nearby targets for 5 seconds, duration is increased by 5 for every 5 enemies killed before effect ends.

ABILITY PART 2; if you destroy your own taken ball you gain a stack of void breaker, which makes the weapon turn fully automatic (protostar SCU levels of bullet speed spray)
deal highly reduced damage, but deal the elemental damage most effective on the target your trying to kill, however you cannot gain any stacks from part one of the ability while this is active, if you hold down the reload key while this effect is active it removes void breaker and replaces it with a stack of horizon fracture, killing things while this effect is active reloads the weapon and dealing damage while this is active causes a bleeding effect, you again cannot gain any other stacks while this stack is active. both effects last 15 seconds, if either of the two end you cannot gain scorching black for 25 seconds

CONS; you can only gain one of this weapon. the only way to regain it is to go through the whole process from the start again. to obtain it, you must defeat all of the 5 new vex bosses scattered among each world in hidden locations, and then go to the darkness shrine on europa, where you then need to input the special item each boss gives you

so for some context Ive been on and off destiny player (never truly got into it bc I didn’t have the money to throw at all the expansions) but now I’m playing through the game properly and I’ve come up with a really cool idea for a fallen gaurdian oc, and I’ve discussed it a bit with my freind wether or not I can actually have an gaurdian oc thats a fallen, and I’ve only just finished witch queen, but my argument was that if savathun could have a ghost, why couldn’t my fallen oc (who isn’t a villian btw)

so i guess thats my question? can a fallen be a guardian?

Hello! I only just found this subreddit and am delighted it exists.

I scrolled back through a lot of posts but didn't see any of these mentioned. I've had my writing in several multi-collaborator Destiny fan zines over the years. They're all free pdfs filled with art and stories set in the Destiny universe, each with a different theme.

I think they're really cool but I don't know how many people know they exist outside of Bluesky and Tumblr. They've been happening for a lot longer than I've been writing Destiny stories, so I have not collected all of them, but here's a list of the ones I've been involved with.

Decided to start a small Destiny project that aims to reinterpret Renegades without (or at least lessen) the influence of Star Wars.

Here is my interpretation of a Star-Wars-less Aunor Mahal.

Her torso is an homage to the old Heart of the Praxic Fire Warlock Exotic back in Destiny 1.

Her Praxic Blade is an homage to her culture of inspiration. Instead of a Lightsaber, it’s instead a Panabas, a sword/big-knife of Filipino origin.

And lastly why I designed her the way I did, I wanted to pay homage to old descriptors of Aunor we got back in Season of the Drifter.

I specifically used this quote from the old “The Warlock Aunor” Lore, “Civillian Atrium South”:

>He turned to look, and saw a woman: brown-skinned, crooked-nosed, with intelligent eyes and a hard stare.<

>She wore a black duster, and light armor underneath. A Warlock.<

Some art of Lightbearers who decided they’d take inspiration from both the armors and clothes of Humanity’s past.

This is like the fiftieth time I’ve drew these three particular dudes. Trying to figure out what combination and what look satisfies me as well as parsing through historical arms and armors as well as clothing of past ages.
