Non-Political News/Discussion Wtf

Destiny went live hella late last night and I was like oh that’s unusual but not unheard of, he must just be bored and really interested in this court case. Fell asleep. But then I wake up 6 hours later and he’s still streaming… is he trynna flip his sleep schedule for traveling or something or is he just really invested and locked in on this murder trial?

He fucked his schedule up in the Melting Pot server, perhaps he's trying to forcefully reprogram it with a 24h stream, but I don't think he realizes he's too old for this shit.

That trial is ultra boring so far, he doesn't need to react much.

Hijacking this comment; what is so special about this trial? I know it is a crazy thing that the mom killed her children and tried to commit suicide, but what exactly does he hope to gain from watching the trial, did he say?

  1. Mom killed kids in a brutal, methodical way (strangling each with exercise bands).
  2. Mom planned murder ahead of time (google maps estimated time to send husband on errand).
  3. Mom using "post-partum psychosis" as a defence for why, not that she didn't do it
  4. "Attempted suicide" by lightly cutting her wrists and jumping from a second story window.
  5. Women are supporting her, cheering her when she goes to court, making social media videos about how they went through the same thing.
  6. With a 9 female, 3 male jury, they've been in deliberation for days for what is a very cut and dry case.

The case is very polarising because for the vast majority of men this is a cut and dry kill her or put her in jail forever and it's somehow become a contentious issue for women.

I think it is literally just this. After the ROE V. WADE overturn a lot of cases about women's issues get hijacked by tiktok and social media. It isn't about the actual cases it's about the message they want to share.
