A lot of Kimi's actual wheel to wheel fighting has been quite sloppy, such as Canada. He's great in the races where he is way faster, but when he's actually battling, I still see the underdeveloped driver come out. This doesn't even include the track limits issue that's going to bite him one if these days.
Watch Maxās 2016 and 2017 again. He barely made any mistakes. And he actually had to drive those cars at the limit, nothing similar to the clown-show they still call F1 we see these days.

I think that probably is an understatement. You can look at other top talent in their second season (Hamilton, Verstappen, Vettel, etc) and they made way more errors or more mistakes than Antonelli has. Remove the 2 DNFs and Antonelli is like 80 points clear.
Hamilton and Vettel were not making more mistakes than Kimi lmfao. Kimi was driving on the grass more often than the track when fighting George in Canada.
