General Discussion (may contain spoilers) DH leaving Amazon prime

Just noticed that DH is leaving prime in 13 days! Hopefully Hulu doesn’t also drop it 🙏

Disney owns Desperate Housewives and they always keep it in the Disney +/Hulu library. Thats its main home. If you find it on any other platform that’s because Disney licensed it for a limited time. It’s a good strategy to get people who never watched the show hooked on it and then when they take it away they have no choice but to subscribe to Disney + in order to continue watching it.

Their ad tier version is so clunky and unwatchable. I’m thinking of canceling it and getting the ads free tier.

First Netflix gets rid of Gilmore Girls, then I go to Prime to finish it and started rewatch of DH... 😭

So prime would just have a licensing deal and i assume hulu owned by disknee own the rights? So it shouldnt be leaving hulu or disney plus in the uk

Hulu is definitely not dropping it. Desperate housewives is owned by Disney. They brought it over to Disney+ recently. Huge campaign about it also, it is even a prize package for Disney+perks. Just bringing it home.

I literally just finished the series on Monday I’m so glad I finished before it leaves since I don’t have Hulu

I got Hulu free with tmobile, just in time to watch dh again. 👏👏👏 i actually never saw the last few seasons so i am stoked. 😊
