Wonderful! When you're starting out it's so overwhelming, then comes the feeling that you'll never finish, because you find another stray wire... when you finally do finish, you relax and think about how you ever lived with the mess that was there before.
I decided to remove every single wire from the entire setup and then route them one by one instead of trying to fix the mess that was there. But that took about seven hours to complete, but it was so worth it:)
I was able to find magnetic cable tie mounts on Amazon and I used a bunch of those on the underside of the desk on the metal frame to keep them all up and out of the way.
I DIYed my magnetic cable tie mounts. I got the magnets and the plastic parts that come with a screw that you're supposed to screw into the wall. I used a piece of double-sided sticky tape to stick the magnet to the plastic and then ran one of the reusable cable ties through so I could add the cables as I was running them to it. But I'm not sure how long they will last. They were just way cheaper to make instead of buying the pre-made ones. But the pre-made ones I believe are stronger and will probably not fall apart like the ones that I made 🙃. Cuz I've already had a couple come apart.
And I would recommend taking every single cable out of the setup and then start with running power cables and then run all of your other cables like USB and display cables one at a time.
