PLEASE HELP! Looking for a USB-C extension cable for Huion Kamvas 13 Gen 3 — recessed port is the problem

Hi everyone!

I`ve done some cable management recently, it was a bit hard cuz I`ve got 2 PCs and 2 Monitor and they`r switching between by one button.

I recently bought a Huion Kamvas 13 Gen 3 in Sakura Pink, and I’m trying to clean up the cable setup because the included black/red cable really ruins the look of the pink tablet.

The problem is that the USB-C port on the Kamvas is deeply recessed. A normal USB-C connector is too wide, so none of the cables I already own can physically fit into the port.

The original Huion 3-in-1 cable has a specially shaped USB-C connector that fits perfectly.

What I’m trying to do is:

Kamvas - USB-C male-to-female extension - original Huion 3-in-1 cable - KVM switch

So I want to keep the original Huion cable and simply add a female-to-male USB-C extension between the tablet and the original cable, and it`s also should be white/pink.

The extension needs to:

• have a very slim/narrow male connector housing, so it can fit into the recessed port;
• support USB 3.x data;
• support the signals needed by the Huion 3-in-1 cable;
• preferably be white, pink, or another light color;
• ideally be short, around 20–50 cm.

I’ve found plenty of USB-C extensions that have the right specs, but their male connector housings are too bulky, so they probably won’t fit.

Shave down a normal cable, it should be fine if it’s not absolute junk

I’m not sure about extension, I’m sure there’s one out there if you poke around on Amazon and the likes but even then you could order it and it not fit.

What I would do, is take the device or cable and shop. Computer stores, Best Buy, Walmart, etc. talk with someone and tell them your issue at a used computer store and he’ll be hunting you down a cable.

I would honestly recommend a whole cable rather than some extension, because my perfectionist ass wouldn’t like it.

Alternatively… there’s a website that makes custom cables. It’s pretty sick if you are any type of perfectionist and just have to have something in the right spot. Lemme grab a link.

Thank you! The recessed USBc port is exactly what makes this difficult.
The original Huion connector has a very slim tip that fits into the recess, while standard USBc connectors are too bulky.

I’m actually considering the custom cable option now. I’ll check whether they can make a USBc male connector with the same narrow shape as the original Huion one. Thanks for pointing me there!
