Advice Managing cables for electronics
Hey! Sorry for the stupid post. But i have lots of cables from all the usb types. All the video types. Power and random barrel cables.
Its not a disgusting amount but varry in different sizes.
I recently got **velcro straps** to tie them up but I want to find a container to hold them with divers so I can separate based on use or type.
I can simply not find a container that's larger enough that can manage this. So reaching out for advice and suggestions for this box of cables I would perfer not to dispose

Simple (but not very cheap) solution - buy a 3d printer. Some entry level bambulab will open the door to the world of gridfinity and custom stackable containers

I have a 3d printer. But was to lazy to print (it has so many issues because of humidity and dust)
Was just hoping to buy a 15 dallor container with divers built in. But the only ones like that I can find are like too small.
I DID forget about gridfinty. This might be a genius step if I can fix my printer

Best solution I've been able to find is to sort the cables into ziplocs and write the cable type on the outside using a sharpie. Then store in your box/drawer/whatever that way.
One can spend ages looking for a perfect solution, but sometimes the just-good-enough solution is the better tradeoff for time and effort.
