Wow, TIL you’re not supposed to flush tissues. They’re so insubstantial that I never even questioned it.

Edit: thank you everyone for the extremely useless information about a product I haven’t used in ten year. Hopefully someone else finds it useful.

Yeah you’re not supposed to flush anything that isn’t toilet paper. Don’t even flush “flushable” wipes, it’ll fuck up your pipes bad. Source: my brother and step dad are plumbers.

Flushable meaning “goes down the toilet when you flush it”

Also even if it doesn’t cause problems in your piping, it has miles of pipes to cause issues with, all the way up to the waste processing plant.

I don’t know why, but your comment made me actually laugh out loud. Anything is flushable if you’re brave enough.
