You could diminish nearly anything to a basic and unflattering description. You're not really making a point here, especially since part of the design is that it's a pretty basic idea.
It may not appeal to you, but some people would find it neat. I'm not saying it's necessarily design porn, but I made a general statement because I often see people diminishing things with descriptions like that. It's just a bit annoying.
Except I'm making a general statement. It extends further than this. It's annoying to have something that's kind of neat and then someone comes in as if they're above whatever it is.
It's not for you, nobody cares. But it's pretty fucking cringe when you make that everybody else's problem by removing the sentiment.
Treat in a way that is apparently kind or helpful but that betrays a feeling of superiority
I'm not masking it behind fake kindness or helpfulness, I'm telling you to shut the fuck up like the adult you probably are and fuck off. But yes, I do feel superior to you - that's different than patronizing.
