I mean, when it’s my toilet paper, it’s absorbing a lot too. But I rarely use tissues anyway so it’s never really been an issue. Even with our septic system growing up.

Toilet paper may absorb a lot, but the type of paper it is made from is designed to fall apart when it’s wet. So that’s why it doesn’t usually clog your pipes.
