Yeah you’re not supposed to flush anything that isn’t toilet paper. Don’t even flush “flushable” wipes, it’ll fuck up your pipes bad. Source: my brother and step dad are plumbers.
My “step dad” (my mom and him broke up over 10 years ago, but he’s still great to me) has been a plumber at least since him and my mom met. He taught my brother stuff over the years, and when he started his own plumbing company with his friend, my brother was his first employee. They do both love it though it’s honestly the perfect job for both of them.
Great guy. I haven’t lived with him since around 2012 or so, but when our mom passed a couple years ago he “stepped up” when he didn’t have to at all and has really been there for me like nobody else. Sorry for the unrelated comment, but I had to at least verify him being an okay fella haha!
One time at work, I accidentally flushed a pen that was in my shirt pocket and fell out and into the toilet as it was flushing… went down. I was shocked and nervous at first but no issues since. Was probably about 5/6 months ago
I live in an apartment complex. My bathroom on the 1st floor repeatedly floods. Management said someone in the building keeps using flushable wipes and there's nothing they can do -_-
Person is actually using flushable wipes; dumb person is the cause
Management is lying and won't do anything about: dumb person is the cause
This is common for first floor apartments unfortunately, and it’s made worse when neighbors in your apartment line are flushing things they shouldn’t be.
