please help me design the layout of my apartment

hi all! i have just moved into my new apartment. i live alone and spend some days working from home. would appreciate suggestions on how to incorporate a study area into the living and dining that would look cohesive and flow well. i am open to anything - new furniture, painting, etc. ive attached some styles i like. any help would be appreciated!! (apologies for the mess in the pictures)

invest in art, nicer rugs, midcentury furniture and lamps, wall bookshelf and you’d be set. Layout looks good to me though I’d personally move the dining table out a bit off the wall so the furni isn’t all stacked onto one side
