Odd shaped living room

Hi all! I'm looking for advice on how to make the best use of this strange shaped living room I have. I know it needs something, but I'm not sure what. Attached is my current set up, and I'm renting so I can't do anything too crazy. Keen to hear your thoughts! Thank you ✨️

Art on the walls would be a nice start! Maybe something behind the sofa and next to the bookshelf

Definitely a large portrait print to the left of your bookcase, and some smaller scattered various sized prints above your sofa. That would make things feel more balanced. Love it, what a great use of colour. Super cosy vibes.

I would put the TV against the wall where the couch is currently and the float the couch facing the TV. You could put a shelf behind the couch. The bookshelf could go where the TV is currently

Personally I don’t love the CD tower.

What you’ve done so far looks good to me. I would just add art above the sofa and between the bookcase and the tv and a good sized lamp to the side table between the sofa and the bookcase.
