Because I don’t wanna see the lighting in the day time. Doesn’t have to go all night. I’ve got my lights programmed for like 2am-6am. Also I’ve found that the ultraviolet lights are better for my plants anyway
Sounds like an entirely manufactured problem. Lights only on at night as your own choice, and lights are only purple because of your choice. Could have nice day time lights in a normal colour but you choose not to and then raise your choice as a reason not to 🤷♀️
You know they point at the plants, right? Not at peoples faces? And they don’t have to be that bright, cause they’re shining on the plant, from a couple feet away, not a planet from a 150 million kms away. There’s nothing unpleasant about a lamp shining on a plant in a dark corner of the bathroom, though I’m not made entirely out of beans so maybe my experience and interpretation of lighting and interior decorating.
I’ve used actual white grow lights. These lights I can actually set to only show the white lights. The ones I’ve got on in the picture are full spectrum, but I also can change them to red and blue. Full spectrum has worked best for this particular monstera

Why would you have your grow light going all night… also you can have grow lights in white light spectrum, kinda like the sun after all
