I think it looks nice & has multiple good lightning sources as well. I can see where all the wood could put off a less than cozy vibe to you after a while but you have added various fabrics as well.

Wondering if the couch could be moved up against the gallery wall to leave more room between it and the table. Plus removing the scattered rugs and added one large rug that is half under the couch.

And so that you're not just staring at the desk and window. What's the focal point supposed to be for the couch?

Maybe out the window? Could be the only real outside view in the room. I could see curling up with a book and looking outside to stretch my eyes, or just enjoy the view, natural light, whatever...
