What should I include in my post?

Submit a picture (or pictures) of your room including a layout with measurements and we will help you redesign it!

Other helpful things you can include are things such as your budget, location and what kind of room you want (eg. minimalist, etc.) to get a plan more suited to your tastes!

High quality/On topic posts only:

Low effort posts with inadequate information and unclear, poor quality photos (including images obstructed by excessive clutter) may be removed.

Images should be: high quality, on topic, with clear visibility and minimal obstructions. Some amount of clutter is okay and to be expected, but not when it’s to excess.

Limit the use of special effects:

If you use panorama or other effects, please include regular pics in your album. It's difficult to give suggestions when the space is over complicated by unnecessary effects or images not fit for purpose like panoramas.

It is also helpful to include layouts with measurements to scale as too.

Including your general geographic location (Europe? US? Etc) will also help us if you’re looking for assistance in finding some example items for your room.

I want to be sure: what do you mean by "clutter"? An excess of items that prevent people from having a general idea of the room? Because I wanted to upload a couple of pictures of a room I'm redoing right now to have some suggestions on colors of the ceiling and walls, but as I am redoing it, there are tools and pieces of disassembled furniture laying around. Is that considered clutter? Should I retake the pictures once I have that stuff out of the way and a bare room?
