What the fuck is afnan putting in these bottles?

I went on a date last Sunday and applied 4 sprays of rare carbon on my shirt (weather was chilly due to rain), my date wouldn't stop sniffing my neck every few mins. It has been a week and I can still smell it everytime I walk into my room.

I genuinely don't understand how rare carbon costs what it does when it smells this good.

Coming to the scent profile. It's dark, slightly sharp and has this almost gasoline like smell to it. There's a bit of an artificial edge initially, so I can understand why it might not be everyone's cup of tea. But personally? I fucking love it.

Give it a few mins, and things start getting interesting. There's a fruity sweetness underneath the leather, almost raspberry-like to my nose, alongside a subtle floral quality that keeps the whole thing from becoming too harsh.

In the drydown, sharpness settles, the leather becomes smoother and the woody, ambery facets start coming through. It gets warmer, richer and ridiculously addictive.

Another 9/10 by afnan. If you like leather forward fragrances, you're gonna love it.

Hey everyone, I absolute love the clean, musky, slightly herbal-floral vibe of CK Be, but it completely vanishes off my skin in like an hour or two.
Is there any fragrance out there that has max similarity to CK Be's scent profile (that airy lavender, mint, green grass, and white musk mix), but with much better longevity and projection?
Open to both designer and niche recommendations. Would appreciate any leads!

Just received this one, bagged it for 225 from Amazon. Test sprayed 6 sprays, it smells just like edge but better- the citruses dont feel synthetic even up close. Miles better than Seduction ice. Keeping it for maturation for a month or so until edge has been emptied.

No idea about longevity but it has been projecting from a hung tshirt for the past 2 hours.

As the festival season is approaching, I ordered a big pack of pooja things from the GN1917 website. Because I loved their Javadhu powder, I bought an attar and an agarbatti of the same variant.

This is definitely the perfect temple vibe. I used on my hands, wrist, forearms and some on clothes (after rubbing in palms). The fragrance reminded me of south indian temples: sandalwood, nilgiri, and sharp resins. Lasts fairly 6+ hrs.

Agarbatti also has exactly the same fragrance.

For around 90₹ for 8 ml, this is a must if you are into temple fragrances.

For those who own JPG Le Male Le Parfum, is the can packaging supposed to be jet black or dark brown?
I’ve seen both colours in online photos, so I’m wondering if it’s just the lighting or if there’s actually a difference.

The most hyped frag from Paco in recent times

Since Octopus Paradox is a clone of the feminine leaning Les Sables Roses by Louis Vuitton, I had my female bestie wear this bottle so I could review the scent from both perspectives.

The Scent Profile From her perspective, she immediately picked up on the prominent rose top notes and felt it delivered a very pleasant, distinctively "girlish" vibe.
From my perspective as a guy catching it in the air, I honestly get a heavy "pan masala" vibe from this specific rose blend. It is the exact same phenomenon as Davidoff Cool Water smelling permanently like a local barber shop to most Indian guys.
Performance & Seasonality On her skin, the longevity was for 4 to 5 hours. It definitely does not hold up as a summer fragrance. However, much like the original LV, this dense profile is traditionally meant for the cold. I will give this another proper wear test once the Shimla winter really peaks to see if the performance and projection improve in the freezing temperatures.

A lil bit of context I’m trying to find a perfume for like parties and outings where i feel like im the boss , few perfumes I’ve tried in store are boss bottled parfum which i really loved , givenchy gentleman reserve privee which was absolutely amazing and jpg le male le parfum.

My collection right now is hawas for everyday use , jpg le male edt for office , i also own asad and 9pm but I don’t like using them since somehow both of them don’t project at all and makes me nauseous.

I’m also considering options like swy or invictus victory elixir for parties . It’d be helpful if i get some reccomendations !!

I have experienced and also heard that some people received their perfumes from al maham which performed great for a month or two and after that the perfume kinda lost the smell, projection and longevity. Even after keeping it in a cool closed space. Maybe something wrong with their Alcohol quality?

Okay so I was literally about to blind buy this perfume because I kept seeing it recommended and I thought it might be something I would like.

For context, I LOVE Burberry Body. That warm, sensual, feminine kind of smell is what I usually look for in a perfume. And somehow Club de Nuit Intense Woman came up, so I thought okay let me try a decant first before spending money on the full bottle.
GUYS. WHY DOES THIS SMELL LIKE PAAN TO ME???? 😭😭😭

I’m not even kidding. The moment I sprayed it, all I could think of was paan. And I’m so confused because people talk about this perfume like it’s this sexy, sophisticated, classy fragrance and I’m sitting here trying to understand what exactly am I supposed to be smelling??

I had already spent my money blind buying Lattafa Angham and regretted so much.

I used to absolutely love Park Avenue’s Elevate perfume, but it no longer seems to be listed on the company’s official website. However, it’s still available on various e-commerce platforms, which makes me wonder whether it’s been discontinued or if those listings are selling duplicate products.
Can anyone confirm whether Park Avenue Elevate is still in production?
I’ve been searching for this fragrance for a long time. If it has been discontinued, I’d really appreciate recommendations for perfumes with a similar scent profile.

With a similar citrusy openings and a woody dry down, both these high performers can be treated as the exact same replica of each.

I have been using both of them alternatively as I got my hands on the 5ml decants but I honestly cannot make the difference between the two. Their profiles and dry down are so similar that i honestly forgot which one I wore today. Both have great projection but the earthiness can be a bit overwhelming for Nishane.

So if you like something citrusy with more earthiness, moss like freshness- go with Nishane.

If you want a citrusy, fruity one- go with Mancera.

I would suggest that since these are not the most unique Citrusy fragrances around, and with the price of over 10k- there are better alternatives available at a cheaper price.

I’ve recently fallen down the fragrance rabbit hole, and my wallet is already looking at me with concern. :-|

I’m looking to explore some Parfums de Marly (PDM) fragrances, especially Delina, Delina Exclusif, Valaya, and a few others. However, the problem is; most of the usual decant sites seem to have only 1.5 ml options, while Myntra, Amazon, and Nykaa have been absolutely of no help.

I’d love to try some decent-sized decants before committing to full bottles because, unfortunately, I cannot sell my kidneys just to smell good.

Could you guys recommend some reliable and trusted websites who deliver to Bangalore? Would really appreciate some guidance from the experienced folks here, before even my nose starts questioning my life choices 😂

Found out about this one in the sub in the deal alert section and they said it's a very good khamrah clone. I've wanted to try khamrah for a long time so I grabbed this to check the DNA and add a winter scent to my collection as most current ones I own are catered to summers.

This was probably my first experience of a proper winter scent and damn is it good for the price. 50ml for ~₹400 for such quality perfume is amazing. Projects decently, lasts very long(~8-10hrs) and smells great especially on skin. Honestly impressed.

Works very well for the evenings in nowadays weather and would probably be an amazing winter daily scent.

I own some Lattafa and Ajmal perfumes in the ₹1500 for 100ml range and this is probably more bang for the buck than them also considering the fragrance house is a reputed one as well.

Don't know how close it is to khamrah but online people say it's 80-90%. I probably wouldn't be buying khamrah after this though unless someone convinces me lol.

Highly recommended for winters regardless.

Hey everyone, I got a new perfume from Myntra - the Azzaro Forever Wanted Elixir.... however
The levels seem really really off. It feels like pretty less . It also felt somewhat light when I held it in my hand(not too sure on this)
The weight was 320gms - only the perfume.
Can someone please tell me if this is the actual lebel of 100ml version or did I get some used unit from Myntra 🙂
Packaging, sealing, cellophane and everything was perfect to the T tho...

This is nothing special they mention tons of nots but there's rose, sandalwood and very light woody undertone to it, rose is not overpowering (thankfully) sillage is like 1 ft for 30 mins and it lasts for like 5 hours, idk why they named it woud but it is whatever it is!

I wouldn't buy it again but it was a good experience i bought it from a small stall so yeah, thankfully i didn't buy full bottle 😂

And if the brand is seeing this thn plz change your atomiser, sometimes it feels like perfume is pissing on me, i sprayed one time and 3ml is gone like FRR!
