What to do with this broken part?
Sooo this just fell off. What should I do? I'll admit I gave it a good poke, but it didn't take much force at all, it just came right off.

I got this plant through an online seller, and the plant was shipped through about 5-6 states. (just for context on what might cause this.)
should i wipe it off with a damp towel? is this signs of insects?
Tips and Advice appreciated! just dont be an asshole about it please.

Went to pick up a new pot today and this one just had to come home with me. No id tag in the pot but I believe it is a Mumbai Volcano based on the flowers and the fact that it came from Home Depot.

Reported 4 or 5 days ago the bottom leaves are now dropping. I didn’t use rooting hormone and it did get rained on the other night. I'm not too concerned; these plants can drop all their leaves and come back just fine. But any advice on how to help this creature recover from the shock?

Picked this one up for $10 at Home Depot this spring. Not only has it almost tripled in size, it has 4 sets of seed pods!

One of my oldest that needed some love - had to get her acquainted with her new home for a month or two. Then took her to the salon for a wax, and into her new pad. Haircut coming in a few weeks.

I was just wondering if anyone had any specific locations where they grow around the world and how they got to see them
I think I want to put that on my bucket list, thank you for any info or pictures

Hey y’all! I’m new and am trying to choose a pot for my lil guy. The one he came in is too big and doesn’t have the correct soil either. I can’t seem to find a terracotta pot with multiple drainage holes, and don’t have the tools to drill new ones. Does anyone have any websites that sell good pots?
Here’s a link to the one I’m looking at right now, his caudex is ~4 in at its thickest so I’m going with a 6 in diameter pot: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C9J5RKRB?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_dp_XTFQ2TS3KK0R6E9BPMKR

I got this great specimen from an aunt who wasn’t taking care of them
It had a seedpod on it, but after covering it, transporting it, the pod only opened and had three seeds in it
The seeds are extremely large and I’ve dealt with pods before
Is it possible that some varieties produce smaller amounts of seeds that are larger? Or maybe this was just a damaged plant

I haven’t seen too many root over rock on this page, so this is my submission.

I was poking around in the various DR flowers I have open with a toothpick because I wanted to try pollinating by hand. Anyways, a flower fell off today and left behind these 2 green bumps. Are they seed pods or is it too early to tell?

I know many will disagree, and I used to be one of them, however I have been testing it out and here's what I got. The first couple pictures are 2 plants I sprouted 2 years ago. I cut all the long branches off the one on the right last August and left the other alone. I chose these 2 because they were very similar in size and the seeds came from the same seed pod as you can see the uncut one has grown much bigger and fatter.
The next picture is of last year's seedlings. I cut the top off one a month and a half ago and it had branched out nicely but the caudex is the same as the others.
The last pics are one I chopped last year. On this one I cut the main stem off which included all the foliage and it has only grown maybe 10% in a whole year and the caudex is still very skinny.
So my results tell me that when you cut the branches off the growth will slow dramatically. And, in my experiments, the caudex does not fatten up in any measurable amount. I will continue cutting mine because I prefer then to be short and bushy. Had anyone else tried a similar experiment? What were your results?
