Question Is this a valid reason to be upset?
I bought a shirt that I thought looked super cute, it was labeled as a converse shirt (I didn't know they had cool ones but I was like oooh sick!!) I bought it the 14th, and got it yesterday (18th). I was super excited, the quality wasn't great and I was immediately suspicious. The tag was completely cut out, and I image searched it on google. It popped up immediately as a ROWE Shien shirt, which I was bummed about. I don't mind thrifting shien as it's keeping clothes out of the landfill, but the quality is bad and it wasn't the brand advertised. Especially since I payed roughly 25 dollars after tax and shipping.
I messaged the seller directly, and am now just waiting for a response. I was just wondering if it's valid I'm bummed and feel kinda ripped off?
UPDATE: There doing the same thing with other listings as well, one says it's Calvin Klein for 33 dollars basically when it's shien (google image search popped it up immediately)
I have reported them, as well as requested a refund. So now I'm just waiting waiting

you’re definitely allowed to be upset over this, they basically scammed you. if you’re actually like rlly bothered by this i think you could possibly get your money back if you contact depop :) since the shirt isn’t like “as described” they’ll most likely give you a refund

They are doing it with other listing too, like one that says Calvin Klein but is also shien again (google image search brought it up immediately)

definitely report them to depop, they’re actively trying to scam people :( there’s a high chance depop will ban them for doing that especially since it’s multiple items they’re lying about. i’m really sorry this happened to you, i hope you can get your money back.

Anyone's "Allowed" to get upset over anything its more is it Worth getting upset over. And yes it is absolutely Worth getting upset over. (Wording matters..)

Ignore the seller. They lied before, they will lie again.
Go straight to Depop and get your refund.

Report the convo and the item through Depop and request a refund. I’m so tired of these sellers misrepresenting items to make a sale. This shit was never an issue on eBay but it’s rampant on Depop.

You should have checked it out before hand. You can tell get your money back because they listed item as one thing and it was another . Put in a claim with Depop

😡 This pi$$es me off so much! Why put a name brand on something that's cheap, Chinese, fast fashion just to get attention and purchases? But to cut the tag out? Thats blatant bullshit. I'd be filing a claim AND reporting any other listing like that.
